Studying here for a global inter action law program. Has a very beautiful garden. And although it's called a castle, it is technically a fortified Manor.

I'm one of undergraduates here from Canada. This is an ancient castle with historical fascination, and really worth to plan a tour here. Thanks for the legacy by Dr.Alfred Bader, and his wife Isabel.

We had a great day here. The castle was interesting, but the tour - while fascinating - isn't so exciting as the interior now serves as a study facility. Sadly most of the walls were destroyed a long time ago, so the best bits to see are definitely on the outside. The parkland is well worth a walk, and we found the recommended route enjoyable. The herb garden at the back is fantastic (past the walled garden and novel Shakespeare garden) - check out the the 'curry plant'!
