We visited today 20th July for my husband's birthday. We had an excellent meal and as I'm gluten free i was happy to find some great choices . I would love to see some gluten free deserts other than ice cream and yoghurt with fruit. That really would be the icing on the cake . Fab night and lovely staff .

After perusing the menu we opted for the meze menu.Once the food started arriving we were left wondering when it was going to stop.
It was all clearly freshly made in house with an authenticity that screamed home made.It was truly excellent and worth more than the price charged.
The only very minor fly in the ointment was the forgotten coffee, but I was happy to overlook that.Definitely a place to go back to.

Literally one of the best value meals ive had- three courses for two and two bottles of wine for 75 quid. Food was excellent from great mezze to moussaka. Wine was surprisingly good for 15 pounds a bottle.
Only downside was service- manager was killing himself but two waitresses were a little slow and clueless. Took a long time (30 mins) to get mains cleared

It was a lovely Saturday so me and my better half Niki went to Eastbourne to do some shopping. Once we had decided on Eastbourne, there was only one place I wanted to go to lunch and this was the place. We had stumbled across Gr/Eat a month or so ago but we were in a hurry so ate and ran. This occasion we had more time. Took a street table - the sun was shining and we had a lovely leisurely lunch. I had greek sausages with hand made chips. Niki the gyros with chicken. A couple of dips and bread. Tasty, simple food with great service. I will be going back there again as soon as I can.

We went to what we thought was going to be a fabulous evening in this Greek Restaurant & left very disappointed.
My husbands sausage meal was good but my chicken skewers was very ordinary with some rice & a few chips on the side.Dessert looked like someone had put yoghurt in a bowl & tipped a jar of honey on top, really not what I was expecting. Left hungry!

This is a great restaurant that serves traditional Greek food. The service is perfect and the food is served in nice big portions with lots of flavours. We had a really lovely evening here and will be back!

Visited this great restaurant last weekend.The restaurant is fairly small,so booking a table is a must.The food was excellent,especially the Meze starters,which were so tasty.All five of us had wonderful meals,the only negative being on the drinks side.We found the service slow,and a couple of the drink orders were brought to our table totally incorrect.The house red wine was not good at all.Superb food,but need to get the wet side of the business right.

Found from previous Trip Advisor ratings. We booked on the day and were one of the last bookings. very popular during the day and evening. Excellent food, we had the Greek specialties which were more than enough for the two of us.

Booked on the off-chance. The set Meze and main course were amazing. Home cooked authentic Greek food. All delicious It just kept coming! Wine reasonably priced and very nice friendly staff (one of whom was the owner, I think).

I highly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the meze for £19.90 and we couldn't believe the how much food kept coming to our table. The quality was really excellent and I have to say that the selection of Greek wine available was really top class. We were so happy to see a bottle called king of hearts that was our favourite when holidaying in Greece recently. I can't wait to go back!

Looked at a few restaurants and decided to try eat Greek as the reviews have been very good. So I must say it lived up to my expectations the service was very good, the food was very good and tasty. Reasonably priced and a nice atmosphere, the downstairs where the toilets are could do with sprucing up ,smelt damp and gloomy, but that wouldn't put me off.

4 adults and 1 child- everybody satisfied. We had moussaka- vegetarian is very good, calamari, chicken souvlaki. White wine is very decent. Absolutely recommend. Service - so so friendly, international, patient and attentive:) it took us a while to decide on the menu - we were so busy catching up. They had to come back to take order from us.

If you like Greek food then this is the place to go. If you've never tried Greek food then this is definitely the place to start. We both had the mixed dip stater which we shared, and was more than enough as we are not the biggest of eaters.
For main we had the lamb shank which was absolutely delicious and highly recommended.Service was spot on.
Price was very reasonable.

We were a company of 13 people and everybody were happy about their food. Despite that the restaurant was fully booked the waitress managed seats outside on the chefs approval. Great service.

There is nothing I can fault this restaurant on. The food is delicious, the prices are very reasonable, the choice is extensive, the ambience is spot on and the staff are incredibly attentive. Deserves a top spot in restaurants in Eastbourne. Can not recommend this place highly enough.

Have visited twice for lunch, now been for Dinner also. Exceptional quality fresh cooked food. You will be very pleased you tried this restaurant. Simple decor, a bit like a Greek Taverna, outside seating if you wish. Also serves breakfast from 9am, (have not tried it YET !). Vegetarian choices available, also a delicatessen where greek products may be bought.

I had lunch here on Saturday with my husband and cousin. We just happened to walk by and the menu appeared very tempting and good value. We sat outside and a waiter appeared almost straight away and took our drink orders – just as it all should be. The owner then came and took our food order. In the meantime we had delicious house wine and olives – I think you can judge the standard of cuisine quite well by the olives that are served and these were absolutely spot on. Our mains were all fresh, delicious and authentic and we couldn’t wait to return which my husband and I did the following evening when we enjoyed their wonderful full mezze – starter, main and dessert. Highly recommended and will definitely be back on our next visit to Eastbourne. This restaurant is a credit to the town.

A ver nice meal not to far from the sea. Quick service, very nice people and the food and amazing with a nice mediterranean seasoning. Only thing I would say to give 5 stars the coffee needs to be a lot better. Overall a very nice meal

Loved this restaurant! Great service and food. Will definitely return. My friends and I all had the Meze and didn't leave hungry! We were unfamiliar with the wine on offer but the staff was very helpful and we were happy with our choices.

Being Greek and a great cook myself I thought it would be very difficult to be pleased by any Greek restaurant. Well this one has proved me wrong! I feel like I am eating at a friend's home , great authentic Greek food really! I did feel a bit jealous and wanted to ask the secrets of few recipes! The feta cheese with sesame and honey was oh my god amazing and the gigantes beans and the kolokythokeftedes were better than my mum' s (sorry mama). Great atmosphere, loved the Greek music in the background making you feel the Mediterranean vibe. What can I say, I had a wonderful meal and I am looking forward trying more dishes from the menu.

So good that we went twice in a four day Eastbourne long weekend break. Friendly staff, comfortable relaxed setting and really good food. Authentic dips, good mezes and quality main courses. From chicken souvlaki, lamb chops and moussaka to a king prawn dish with countless king prawns- in a lovely sauce (when I am not normally keen on tomato based sauces), it was all excellent. Even gluten free pitta available too for those keeping wheat intake down.
The Greek red wines we tried were excellent and things have certainly changed on that front in recent years - at a reasonable price for restaurant wine. I would say excellent all round but I do reserve that accolade for exceptional places whereas this was really very good for a modest Greek restaurant.
