I love piers and this one is a really nice well maintained one with great views a few nick nack shops and a decent bar with live bands so if you like the wind in your hair and enjoy live music this is a great place to come

We went on to the Pier whilst on a day visit to Eastbourne. It is not too long and it is not possible to reach the absolute end of the structure. However, it was nice to see that the traditional structure and facilities had been restored and were open to the public. The pier contains some food outlets and tourist shops. Although not outstanding it provides the opportunity for an interesting walk away from the shore. A rating of 3.5 - "Good" would be more appropriate if available on Tripadvisor.

This is very much how piers used to be and feels like you are stepping back in time when walking on here. The pier is not very long but is well worth having a walk along. There is a café on there along with a couple of gift shops and a bar at the end of the pier along with a nightclub. There are seats along the pier where you can sit and watch the world go by.

Not much to do on here but looked like a nice tea shop. We went in the evening so nothing open. Would have been nice in a sunny day.

My wife and 2 very young children visited the pier yesterday. It offers great views along the coastline. There is little to do aside for playing arcade games. A few little shops which understandably are for tourists. A bar/club assume the large building on the end which we didn't go into. Worth a visit for the view but little else to keep you occupied or entice you to come back.

Well, I suppose it does what it says on the tin! It's a pier with a couple of cafes and a night club - you can't go all the way down to the end of it now .

This is a little gem of a pier, interesting in itself but the controversy of the gold painted lions makes for an intereting conversation with the locals. Well worth a walk to the end.

Had a great cream tea on the pier really good home made scones. Bought two lovely presents for family in the hand made glass gift shop. If you visit Eastbourne the pier is well worth a visit.

Not a lot to do on the pier but nice little walk, has the normal things fish and chip shop, donut stall, amusements, tea shop and pub. Clean and not too busy.

This is another pier that sadly was damaged by fire in recent years but luckily has been restored by the current owner who is a local hotelier and businessman

The pier is not overrun with tacky amusements but left fairly basic akin to how it would have been originally which I myself do like

I believe that the current owner at one point wanted to charge admission which has not happened yet and I personally believe should not be able to be put into force

Well worth a walk to the end. It's a bit weather beaten, but the weather can be very bad, I love the gold roof.

Try the afternoon tea in the Victorian cafe. Lovely food swiftly and efficiently served. The prawn sandwiches and scones with jam and cream were delicious

Visited here on a nice day sun was out and headed for a few drinks at the end of the pier in a cool Jazz bar. Enjoyed the walk along the old fashioned pier, typical British beach resort!
