Described as “a popular coastal hub, where the South Downs meet the sea”, Birling Gap near Eastbourne is part of the famous Seven Sisters chalk cliffs and no matter where you stand, you will see unspoilt views of the sea.

A National Trust location, Birling Gap is a great point of entry for coastal walks and there is a café and visitor centre.

If you like the beach, why not take the kids for a seaside picnic or to explore the rock pools?  Birling Gap is a great day out for the whole family.

Parking: Pay and Display parking is available.

Café: serving takeaway hot and cold drinks and light snacks.

Toilets: external toilets are open.

Please note: the beach maybe closed at short notice if the weather is poor.
