Enjoyed some lovely walks along here during our stay in Eastbourne - looked in the souvenir shop and bought a magnet.

A nice pier to have a walk along, with a nice bar at the end for a drink or meal. There is a nice tea room on the pier, also there is plenty of seating.

We really enjoyed a walk with young children round the pier. It cost nothing to do that. You do have shops & places to eat on the pier if you want food.

Leuke pier, maar wel een beetje vergane glorie

For a British pier, this one is pretty eye catching and large. It is geared for stag and hen do's though and hence isn't perfectly picturesque

Visited Eastbourne pier on an extremely windy but sunny day. Traditional old fashioned pier. Grandson enjoyed the old fashioned two penny machines and was kept busy for about half an hour feeding 2ps into them, he also got a wrist band out of one as a prize. Kept me amused too but I didn't get a wrist band.

Lovely tea room serving afternoon tea. Looked very good but as we had just had lunch didn't try it but will go back sometime and try it.

Big open space at the start of the pier could perhaps do something with the space.

Well worth a visit.

A new pier, the wooden floors are closer together than most older piers, which was better to walk on.

A typical English pier - although this one is in better shape than many, and was relaxing to wander around on a sunny Sunday morning.

The pier is a nice experience for a stroll on a good day if you have an hour to spend. Good views from the pier is worth the visit. The pier has limited things for children apart from the small amusement arcades which can become quite expensive, so beware. The 2p machines where popular with the children. Fortunately the pier has free admission.
There is a bar and a few places to eat together whith the mandatory trinket shops.

I think the pier is actually much better since the fire. It has opened up the front space, where before you were confronted with the large Amusement Arcade, it is open space now. The amusements having been moved to a smaller more unobtrusive area. I'm not too keen on the gold everywhere, I think this has been overdone a bit. However, pleased that is is still free to go in and have a wander.

We were lucky enough to visit on a beautifully sunny day, and the entrance to the pier is quite breathtaking. It's a lovely stroll along the wooden planks all the way to the end, with various amusements, stalls, bars and restaurants, as well as plenty of seating and tables to eat and drink along the way. We enjoyed the penny arcade, and the view from the end of the pier, with all the huge sea birds. Recommended - if you are in Eastbourne it would be criminal not to take a promenade on the pier.
