Lovely venue to come with the family or for a date night. We saw Jack and the bean stalk last night and it was superb. Been coming every year as a tradition and can't fault the Panto at all. Great actors with great jokes and some sneaky humour for the adults to laugh at aswell.

We saw Jack and the Beanstalk. This isn't our local pantomime but we discovered a few years ago that the devonshire park theatre has the best one.
This years exceeded our expectations, I have never laughed so much in a panto, or been so amazed at so much. The dancers were excellent, the giant was a giant, fantastic singing, endless energy from all, and the baddy fleshcreep was the best baddy I've seen. There was even a pantomime cow.
Highly recommended it.

I've been visiting this beautiful theatre for most of my life, there continues to be a great variety of shows, to suit anyone! Although the shows may change, the atmosphere, hospitality and professionalism from ticket office to behind ( and in front of) the scenes never does, always seamlessly professional. A great flagship venue for Eastbourne and the theatre scene.

The Devonshire never disappoints, sumptuous red and gold decor, sweeping drapes , marble pillars and carvings all around. Harking back to the days when a trip to the theatre was a very special occasion and we dressed up for it. Local and international talent adorn it's stage for a full calender of events that both entertain and titillate it's visitors. A night out at the Devonshire Park Theatre is a treat that should be shared by all.

Saw "Murder, Margaret & Me" this afternoon, absolutely brilliant !!! The woman who played Margaret Rutherford was fantastic !! Got her ticks & mannerisms perfectly ! Brilliant play & a great way to spend an afternoon, I was thoroughly engrossed & sad when it came to an end I enjoyed it so much ! Bravo !!

I am disabled and they have a ramp to the side of the theatre which allows mobility scooters and wheelchair users into the theatre. Although there isn't the space for mobility scooters inside they do have a shed like construction you can put them in for safety. There is approximately 5 spaces for wheelchairs inside the theatre. The last time I went with family our seats were in the middle of the row. This was not suitable for me so the theatre staff went and checked the seating plan and managed to find me a seat on the end of a row. Which was very thoughtful of them. The theatre is as comfy as possible and the staff are friendly and helpful.
