Five stars because everything is as you would imagine a pup in England. Large selection of beers, whiskey, and everything else. Totally mixed audience. From old men to young couples. Everyone is here. For a beer or the whole evening. The live music was great. Not too loud. Service quick and friendly.

3 of us had lunch, chili con carne and 2 burgers. Staff were lovely and friendly, food was great, service quick but good, and the decor was very festive for Halloween. All in all a good decision to go there. Prices reasonable too.

Good roast. Friendly service. Soft drinks overpriced. £2 for a lime cordial and soda. Difficulty in booking as phone not answered and no call back if message left. Luckily a table was free.

I arrived in Eastbourne for a Ladies Festival on Friday afternoon and met up with the gang - but not the wife, who was running late - and what were we to do to kill a few hours before the festival began? PUB!
We wandered along the front for about ten minutes before finding this place - a few of our number were, of course, hungry but the rest of us just wanted a beer.
The pub had a couple of guest ales on and we got stuck into the Festival ale (why not?) while the menu was studied in great detail.
Eventually, a couple of burgers and chips were ordered and quickly consumed along with more ale and a couple of bottles of wine! All in all, a lovely afternoon spent in the sun with friends. Recommended.
