We were visiting Eastbourne and hubbie wanted to find a pub showing spurs v arsenal. What a lovely place - stone wall, xmas decs , good food and a real buzz. Live music some evenings, darts, pool etc.

Fünf Sterne weil alles so ist wie man sich einen Pup in England vorstellt. Große Auswahl an Bieren, Wisky, und sonst allem. Total gemischtes Publikum. Vom alten Mann bis zu jungen Paaren. Alle sind hier. Auf ein Bier oder den ganzen Abend. Die Live-Musik war super. Nicht zu laut. Bedienung schnell und freundlich.

I paid for 12 of my staff to come for lunch here on Friday and from start to finish the lady I dealt with was extremely helpful and was very accommodating. My staff were overall happy with the food. They all loved the starters and deserts but the ones that had the burgers did not like it at all. Like I said though in general they loved it and staff were very easy to deal with

We visited Eastbourne at the weekend and walked past this place a few times. Why? It's a great place. Sunday we went in to watch the late footie, they have Sky and BT so they covered everything. The decor smart, it was clean and the food was delicious. A good choice for everyone. Plenty of staff on hand and very reasonably priced. Good choice of beers as well. Great decision and the roast looked amazing as well, but a girl can only eat so much. . . don't know why Trip call this a restaurant... It's a sports pub!!!

3 of us had lunch, chili con carne and 2 burgers. Staff were lovely and friendly, food was great, service quick but good, and the decor was very festive for Halloween. All in all a good decision to go there. Prices reasonable too.

Good roast. Friendly service. Soft drinks overpriced. £2 for a lime cordial and soda. Difficulty in booking as phone not answered and no call back if message left. Luckily a table was free.

What a lovely pub, not far from the pier. Very friendly and attentive staff. Did was excellent, can recommend the fish and chips and the lasagne. Very enjoyable night, great atmosphere

We just popped in for a drink on a Friday night and found one if the busier places in town with lots of people eating. The staff were friendly and we got drinks and sat down. Although one end of the pub is designated as a Sports Bar there are screens above the bar which everyone can see and watch Sky Sports so I'm afraid you can't get away from it, even if you wanted to.
The food we saw looked good and the drinks were fine. We would have stayed longer but we had a table reserved for a meal elsewhere.

Party of 10 of us celebrating my Wife’s 50th accommodated on an extremely busy night in Eastbourne with their Grand Torchlight Procession in full flow. Great venue with superb choice of good quality food & drink. Jess and all staff we encountered that evening were friendly and attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely revisit if back in the area and would highly recommend, faultless. Thank you for making our night memorable 😉

Have had some lovely meals at the crown but this was very poor. Hopefully a one off I must confess to not sending good reviews when food has been excellent. I have therefore scored a three to reflect the usual high standards .
. Over cooked steak served on a roof tile , the sauce came in a jug which you cannot pour unless you want it in your lap .. Ps no steak knife supplied for tough old steak which went home for the dog to excercise his jaws .Step Up C&A
