One of the best Sunday lunches in Eastbourne,a great verity of starters,I had the mushroom topped with bire which was beautiful,but then my friend had the pate which was literally making my mouth water, the roast beef was lush with penalty of lovely vegetables,the staff was fantastic,helpful and friendly Especially meg,as we did have a couple of demanding friends with us lol but meg took it in her stride like a true professional and a lovely smile on her face , definitely worth a visit if you are in Eastbourne,we will definitely be back.

Although there is a very comprehensive menu, we opted for traditional fish and chips which were very good. The pub appears to have a good blend of tourists and locals and there is a great atmosphere. Staff efficient and friendly.

Located on the seafront this lovely pub is dog friendly and has great food. The menu is vast and ranges from the very best lamb shanks and steaks to a good selection of vegetarian and vegan options. On the first night we had the vegetarian sharing platter and on the second night we hoped to try the vegan platter but with the England v Sweden match being on we couldn’t get a table . The food was excellent and perfectly prepared and served.
If you are lucky you might even catch some of the great live music there from time to time. Great staff too and they fussed and looked after our dog really well.

Popped in here for a quick lunch. Staff very friendly and very quick to serve. The three of us ordered food. Lasagne, Ham egg n chips and I had the ribs. The food was excellent. Try the ribs, they are awesome. Top marks to the chef.👍👍

Ate 2 nights running on a Friday and Saturday evening, us and the dog. Really well run pub. Extensive menu and good selection of beers. Lots of bar staff so despite being very busy both nights there was minimal wait to get served. Had salmon with cous cous the first evening which was excellent and lamb shank, mashed potatoes and veg the next evening-again excellent. Vegetarian, gluten free and vegan menus to if that’s your thing. Best to reserve a table in the bar and it takes away all the pressure when you have a dog. If you’re in Eastbourne and want a friendly, lively pub with decent beers, good food and great service, this is the place. Just remember to reserve a table as it’s certainly busy between 6.30-8pm.

Big pub right on the waterfront. Very busy and popular. Little outside space in front and rear. They had live music on the weekend we were there. Band was pretty good. Thought drinks were good and food was ok. It got really hot with so ma y people in the upstairs party space. They wouldn’t open the windows because of noise concerns and A/C wasn’t enough. Overall fun night and good venue. Great location.

Me and my family visit the South a lot and this pub is smashing, great service, great food and they know how to pull a pint. It’s always busy and everyone seems to be having a great time. They welcome our dog each time too which is amazing. I love this place!!
