We had a truly stomach filling experience the portions are huge, I had a steak and ale pie with mash and seasonal vegetables with thick gravy my girlfriend had a nutroast also with vegetables and vegetarian gravy we both finished our meals washed down with a couple of lagers and we couldn't move quickly afterwards and we certainly didn't have a dessert.

Went in on Monday, early evening, after booking earlier the same day. Some locals and a few holidaymakers in but pub not full. Several different staff spoke to us and all were very helpful and friendly. Plentiful meals arrived quickly, and were delicious. Nothing but praise for the whole team - we'll definitely call in again before returning to Manchester. Highly recommended.

We visited this pub twice, both ties in the evening. The food was good, as was the beer and wine. We really enjoyed the live entertainment, especially the karaoke. At the tables it was waitress service for the food and drinks, where one can run up a tab for the whole evening - no visits to the busy bar.

Visited the premises on two occasions and was very pleased with both the service and the atmosphere of the pub.
The place was really busy and is one of the only live music pubs in the area.Good selection of beers on tap. Only gripe is that a double Bacardi wasn't on special offer!

We enjoyed the food and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially when we were too cold to stay out on the patio! I especially enjoyed the gluten free burger, although it was too much food so I shared!

We were in a seafront hotel nearby here to naturally paid it this pub a visit.
On the first evening after eating elsewhere we had a quick drink before heading back to our room, there was a guy singing and playing guitar which was a nice distraction, beer was decent and service at the bar was good and quick.On the second evening we stopped to eat and have a couple of drinks and though it was a Friday evening we found a spare table.
After ordering drinks at the bar we realised they took food orders from the table so that was good.Food arrived pretty quickly, I just had a burger and chips which was fine.
Prices are reasonable and overall we were pleased with the food and atmosphere.Would visit again if in the area.

Really lovely pub right next to the seafront. Good atmosphere and friendly staff, especially olly who I was served by. The food is great and the menu is varied, there is something for everyone! They have a really good amount of vegetarian and vegan options available too! Nice sports area which is great for playing pool, overall really good experience, will definitely be returning.

Went with a group of friends for a quick pint! Once we saw the food that was coming out, we ended up staying for the whole evening! I had the steak and ale pie and mash which was honestly the best I’ve ever tasted. My friends had burgers which all looked amazing and the portions were huge! Great sports bar area with pool table and juke box! We will definitely return!
