The pub is a short walk from the pier.
The food is excellent and a lot cheaper than expected.

We recently visited Eastbourne for a mini break. After spending the evening walking round town we came across The Crown & Anchor right next door to our hotel!
The lady who served us at the bar was very welcoming and soon sorted our drinks, pointed us to a table and then arranged for one of the waiters to take our order.
The meal was very enjoyable with a very generous portion, good prices too.
Would definitely recommend to others how are looking for somewhere cosy to have a drink and a meal.

Good pub with a nice range of ales and lager. Good is good pub style food and not complicated and delivered very well. Room upstairs is a good size and good for all functions

Wonderful place. A proper pub. Friendly staff (you get a better welcome if you've got 4 legs). Good range of Greene King beers. The one's I tried were spot on.

Spent the evening having a meal with family. Great atmosphere and good food ... choice of vegan as well. Dog was made welcome too. Will call again when in the area.

Our parents live in eastbourne and we visit 3/4 times a year and we always visit the crown and anchor , great location just off the front , nice selection of beers and staff are so friendly and welcoming , I can’t recommend this pub enough , please visit if your in eastbourne

A very family and dog friendly pub with a varied menu. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed relaxing with vino and the vegetarian sharing platter. Attentive staff who went out of their way to be helpful. Definitely worth a visit.

Been here a few times now on visits to Eastbourne. Always a warm friendly welcome with attentive staff. The food has always been good with large portions and reasonable prices. Rib eye steak tonight was very good! Highly recommend it 👍🏼😊

I enjoy visiting this place. The food is gorgeous if a little overpriced for the area. Sometimes they have great bands on at the weekend
