4 of use and a small dog just popped in for some lunch very friendly made all of us welcome lovely food as well as the beer. I wood think that you need to book or get their early as it is a very busy place.

Tried a few places to get in tonight, all “fully booked” and these guys accommodated us, had a to seat outside no problem as sunny but Charlie got us a seat inside when it got colder even though the champ league final was on. The manager is brilliant also, so friendly and so are the door staff. Recommend highly and know what to to with the COVID restrictions in place👍

We had been looking forward to eating in the Crown & Anchor on the Friday of the spring bank holiday weekend 2021, about 2 weeks after the pubs were allowed to reopen for indoor catering.
We had previously visited in December 2020 and enjoyed a great meal with attentive staff.On our repeat visit, the place was freezing with one door permanently open and the other door opening and closing every couple of minutes.
We waited and no one came to bring us a menu or take our order, although we had reserved a table.Eventually, I had to go to the bar and ask for the menus.
The menus were brought to our table but nobody took a drinks order and we had to wait until they eventually came back to take our food order and only then could place our drinks order.The food itself was nice, but we weren't given any serviettes or cutlery and I had to go to the bar again to ask for them.
After our meal was served, staff visited our table a couple of times to ensure that all was ok.The manager was very nice and helpful and was the same guy who we met in December, but the serving staff seemed very inexperienced and we were under the impression that we were witnessing organised chaos.
A relaxing meal it was not and we left after the main course and after only one drink as a drafty platform at a train station would've had equal ambience and warmth to the Crown & Anchor on that night.

My partner and I recently visisted after lockdown was lifted. We have had the food from here delivered several times which has always been lovely, but it was even better being in there. The staff are happy and friendly, the food is great and the atmosphere is enjoyable.<br>Also worth adding that it is great in here for vegans! The range is great and the coleslaw and mayo are always vegan, which is nice as it usually wouldn't be something a vegan would ask for without knowing.<br>Will be very happy to go here again and enjoy some more yummy food!

A very popular pub bar staff friendly and efficient there app is confusing at first but I got the-hang-of it in the end had food here before lovely very noisy in the sports bar advisable to book a table in advance

Great tasting food but false info on the menu.<br>I had the chilli con carni which was lovely but my coworker had something that stated it came with hummus but they then charged him an extra £3.50 for the hummus and claimed it was a typing error on the menu.<br>After reading the reply and also talking to my colleague it has been confirmed that he was refunded for this so I have changed my review accordingly. Thank you.

Amazing meal with friends after a long walk from Seaford. Lovely team, great big delicious portions. Perfect end to a great day. Accepted us early, gave me a special side and helped us with taxis!
