Yummy food. I created a new meal of nachos with a side of chilli and I don't regret it! Staff very friendly but it took too long to order drinks/get served. I understand it was a Saturday night but one staff member asked every table around us and never came to us. Very strange.

We visited late this afternoon and had a lovely table in the sun. The staff were friendly and attentive and the food amazing. The proprietor even gave my husband a celebratory glass he covered. Will definitely be returning.

This is the second Sunday we went to the outside eating area it was very windy the staff were amazing they found us a sheltered table when one became available the food was simply delicious all home made and cooked to perfection we had eaten there before several times but in normal times living in the next town we can catch the bus there so double bonus I have had bariatric surgery so my food intake is minimal they happily give you a doggy bag to bring home my vegetables were cooked and I was able to eat and digest them which is just brilliant I will recommend on our site for others thank you all see you in two weeks

Today I went to the Crown & Anchor with my family including two toddlers. The staff have been amazing and the food delicious. Definitely the pub to go if you're down to Easbourne. Friendly and caring staff with tasty food (as well as drinks). ;-)

This popped up on our Just eat for the first time tonight, so we ordered the vegan sausage and mash and vegan cheesecake.... So good! The mash, sausages and veg all came packed separately and very hot. It was so tasty and perfectly cooked. It came earlier than expected too. We will definately be ordering again and trying out the other vegan options 👍

Since the only way to have a quality beer in a pub in these days of COVID restrictions is to have a 'substantial meal' with your beer, this pub is the perfect solution: you don't have to resent the requirement to buy a meal in order to enjoy a nice beer. The food was as good as the beer today (Sunday lunch). Two excellent bitters available on tap - Harveys and Old Speckled Hen, and a varied luncheon/dinner menu thrown in. We had a roast turkey dinner and a generous, home-made quiche with salad. Both mains were excellent. There was plenty of distance and protection between tables, and the TVs showing football were high up on the walls and not too obtrusive. Service was attentive and pretty quick. No need to say more. Recommended.

The pub was taking all of the necessary Covid precautions. The food was very good , I had the steak and ale pie which was homemade , the service was very good - highly recommend

We found the food was very well presented it tasted good and it was extremely reasonable replaced for the portions that you get, also the whole building was kept clean and tidy, the staff were welcoming and could not what do too much to make your experience within the Crown and Anchor one that you would enjoy and definitely would go back

It is a very friendly, cosy pub with very nice food, great vegan or vegetarian selection, huge portions.The staff is kind and helpful.We even had breakfast which was a great choice.
