Popped in for a pint with my dad and girls, very polite staff, served quickly by a lovely friendly barmaid who was very chatty and always smiling and laughing with us.
Quiet and felt comfortable in our surroundings unlike some places you go to, will call I again next time I'm in Eastbourne.

Our first night in Eastbourne we went to The Crown and Anchor in search of food! My husband was over the moon with the Steak and Ale pie and the chilli in my jacket potato was delicious. The Old Speckled Hen beer was a bonus. Would definitely recommend.

Just had a lovely meal with my wife, we both had the turkey roast which was excellent. The service was great and our two dogs were well looked after with a supply of water and treats. I would happily make a return visit.

Greene King run has the usual Ales and a very nice Sussex ale, try the beef rib crisps, swift service reasonable prices, and it is the Only real Public House along the whole Seafront, outside seating, good clean well run pub.

Fantastic little pub, caters for all, very extensive menu including veggie, vegan, gluten free. Food arrived and was hot and a huge portion for a great price. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Staff very friendly as well as busy. We were old it would be a 45 min wait for food on arrival. It arrived after 20 mins and was fantastic. Lamb shank for me which melted in my mouth and roast beef for my partner who said it was fantastic. Finished off with a cheeseboard. We will be going back.....

We wondered why, when we called, we were told there was only one table available on a Sunday night........no need to......it was wonderful. The service and food were out of this world.
I can not suggest it enough.....if you are anywhere near, enjoy first class food and wonderful service.

Excellent quality food and service. My daughter has a severe dairy allergy which was not a problem with the menu and help of the stuff. She ate a lovely turkey roast and apple pie and custard.
