Visited this pub while down eastbourne on along weekend. Nice pub with friendly staff and had a great meal with my wife on Sunday night. Food was delicious 😋 Highly recommended.

We’ve been here a few times now and we like the place. The staff work together as a team, they are efficient and friendly. The food on offer is great for Vegans with a whole page of selections on the menu. My particular favourite is the Spicy Vegan Chilli. It tastes great and you get a bowl of Vegan-cheesy nachos on the side, plus some home made Guac. The pub is dog friendly, and the clientele are people friendly 😁. Give it a try.

Stopped by here yesterday with my Dog and great to see a dog friendly pub, was made to feel very welcome. The staff are great, very welcoming and polite. Compliments to the chef my Burger with cheese and japenos was delicious, burger was quality and lovely chips and fresh salad. 5 stars what a gem of a place and the food is amazing. Plus they have their tree and christmas decorations up as well :) Highly recommended

I had been meaning to go to the crown and anchor for some time and I went with my daughter for Sunday lunch, the recommendations I had heard were spot on, the food was amazing. There was so much food on my plate I didn't know where to start!! It was absolutely delicious. We had cheesecake for dessert which was so lovely.

Great Pub amongst the hotel's facing the seafront. Went there twice and were impressed about the friendlyness of the bar staff (smaller girl in black dress, I talk about you!). Went there twice now as 'our local' whilst being on holidays in sunny Eastbourne. Albeit a chain pub, it didn't feel like it. The food was also great. Thanks guys for your hospitality.

Came here for Sunday lunch October half term with the family. Staff very welcoming and looked after us well. Food and drinks hit the spot. Easy to book a table online, can imagine it gets very busy high season. Thanks for a lovely lunch!

Lovely welcome and a fantastic place for my friends birthday. Unfortunately a certain bar staff member looked very miserable throughout her shift and not very accommodating, which was noticed by a number of the guests.

We visited the crown and anchor for dinner with our 4 year old boy. The food was nice (great vegan options), the atmosphere was great but mostly, the thing that will get us to return was the attentive staff! Such a friendly atmosphere, and so accommodating and friendly towards our little boy. Mainly a lovely waitress, ‘Onna’ interacted with our son in such a sweet manner, it means a lot when having dinner out with children. She is an asset to this place, but all of the staff were great also! We will be back.
