Went here on Saturday 02/10/21 for a drink unfortunately all tables except 4 were reserved so limited were you could sit.<br>For a pub that does food I thought it was a bit of a health hazard to have dogs milling around the tables while people were eating

We found the staff very attentive with their service. The food we had on our 4 visits surpassed our expectation of pub food. Well done to all staff members front and rear of house for helping to provide our dining experience at the Crown and Anchor. When on our next holiday in Eastbourne we will definitely pay them several more visits.

A busy pub so we booked a table for two and the table was waiting for us. Nice food and good pub atmosphere. Great meal and good service. Thoroughly recommended ( I would advise booking ahead though ).

We booked a table here and the staff were very friendly but sorry to say the food was awful my halloumi burger had been fried and was vey greasy and my partner had scampi which was watery and hard peas !!! Shame as the staff were lovely and the drinks were food value just let down by the food

Very busy pub with atmosphere and good bar staff. I didn't try the food but it looked good. I visited on a Friday and would recommend booking if you require a table. Well run pub.

Good little pub. Food was reasonably priced and good portions but could not believe that 2 non-alcoholic ciders cost £10. I know that pubs are struggling but at that price only stayed for 1 drink whereas if cheaper would have stayed for at least 3 or 4.

Found this lovely pub whilst on holiday last year and came back for another visit last weekend.<br>Fantastic friendly staff who really made my Husband and I feel really welcome.<br>Our Dog Boo had the best time as one of the lovely members of staff (kara/kiara) really took a liking to Boo and fed her with Biscuits.<br>Really lovely pub and fantastic food and we will definitely be back again soon

We booked online but didn't realise the booking was for the next day we were still seated at a table with no issues we had the pork belly, roast beef and the steak and ale pie which were all delicious

We came to this lovely pub to watch the football wonderful staff Kat was delightful. We had a meal one night excellent and used this pub as our Local while staying in Eastbourne.
