First time visited, be careful as its not a Green king pub, menu is different. What we has was nice too. No car park which I could see, so have to park up on side streets.

Just had a very lovely meal in this great Pub.
As from Germany I’m not used to such a great selection of vegan varieties. Just amazing. The Burger was just as it has to be. And my husband was more than satisfied with his sausages and mash. Fantastic Service as well. We’ll come back as soon as we’ll be able to!

Fantastic!!!! This is the first review I have ever written but felt compelled because the service was so great! We were a large family aged from 3 to 98 with a variety of allergies and dogs, so not an easy bunch but the staff were amazing from start to finish. The table was laid beautifully for when we arrived with a special touch of a happy 98 birthday chalk board, the waitresses were knowledgeable, friendly and super helpful, the food was delicious and great portions. It was a really fab all round experience and even the dogs were looked after, so a huge thank you to all staff for making my Nans birthday so special! Highly recommend for all! Xxx

Welcoming staff who couldn’t do enough for us, as a party of nine we were seated very swiftly despite the establishment being very busy.
Extensive menu which without exception, our choices were generous and extremely tasty. Recommend the lamb shank served with a selection of fresh veg, the steak and ale pie was divine. Our party dined here twice out of our three night stayVery impressive would certainly come again.

This place was down the road from where we stayed, and we had two very good value meals there, we were 7 people and they catered well, very good service and staff plus great food and excellent prices well done.

Popped in for drinks with friends. A very busy, lively pub with live music and plenty of "Dead Man's Fingers" shots. A definite, if you enjoy a lively atmosphere.

A very pleasant lunch. The smoked salmon starter was good and the quality of the bread it came with was excellent. The rest of the food was good and it was very relaxing sitting outside with a beer. Very much recommended.
