Only have the pie if you're a fan of food swimming in masses of strange oily gravy. The cabbage (we think) had a congealed mass of it on I'm not sure how long it had been plated up before it was served.<br>The chilli was good.

The food was excellent.Cannot say the same about bar staff.Had to call them whenever we needed something.They we’re not busy.Still not sure whether you order at bar or if they come to the table.Wood go to place again just for the food and to see if the bar staff have improved.

Nice pub. We had a couple of drinks then decided to eat in. The food was amazing. I had lamb shank, he had roast beef. Approx £14-15 each. What a bargain. Would definitely recommend.

Came here for a roast with my wife and a few friends. Beef was cooked perfectly and the creamed leeks were delicious! Love the fact they do a roast 7 days a week.
