We both had a wonderful meal cooking to profection the beef lasagna was absolutely delicious and the salad was excellent.would highly recommend this establishment places like this deserve recognition.

Friendly and knowledgeable staff, excellent house gin and the Long Man bitter was glorious. Food portions were generous and the food itself was top notch. Could even smoke outside. If you're in Eastbourne treat yourself, you won't regret it.

First time visiting The Crowne and Anchor, food was lovely and tasty and bar service very good. Only slight downside was the kitchen as the food orders seemed to be quite slow at coming out saying that the whole atmosphere was very pleasant and friendly and we will pop in again for food and drinks.
Lovely atmosphere and karaoke. We enjoyed with our children singing and dancing.

lovely food cooked to perfection. Lovely pub atmosphere. We stopped to have a drink to hide from the rain and was served by Jess, Lovely lady polite and friendly with a great smile. So we decided to return and have a meal. So pleased we did it was delightful. Hope Jess gets the recgnition she deserves. Thank you loads.

Great Place on the seafront. Large choice of Beers and Wines. Sunday Roast very good. Steak and Ale pie very good. Moist, pleanty of gravey, accompanying vedge well cooked. Only dissalpointing dish was Garlick Mushrooms. Not a lot of taste. Overall a good choice for food and drinks. Buzzing atmosphere. Staff all at the top of their game. Outside seating area a great place to watch the world go by. Never boring. Live music some nights. Went 3 nights on the trott. So must have been good

Went in for a drink on a very hot day. The choice of of pubs in Eastbourne is very limited and most we found in the middle looked a fair bit in Need of smartening up . Anyway glad we walked back to this one.

This pub is the nicest pub I have ever been to! The food is amazing! And the staff are all really lovely, kind and obliging. They can't do enough to welcome you and make your visit memorable. I don't even live in East Sussex but they have me coming back every year. Today we were served by Olivia. I am disabled and she was so kind and helpful in helping my mum and I. She is professional, polite, kind and hardworking. Nothing was to much trouble. She is a real credit to your team. People who don't visit this pub are seriously missing out!

Fantastic dinner here last night…I had lamb shank with roast potatoes and veg. I was expecting frozen veg and pots but was really surprised when it came up. Beautiful crispy pots and lovely veg. The lamb was so tender it was gorgeous. Hubby had the steak and ale pie and said that was lovely too. Staff all lovely and friendly. A great find in a lovely location. When we come back to Eastbourne, we will definitely be heading straight here for something to eat and drink 😋🤩

Nice pub just off the seafront as there are not many at all on the front in Eastbourne, this one is thankfully lovely. Outside seating area is pleasingly clean & cosy, just unfortunate you are not on the sea front. Inside is spacious with a good airy feel with plenty of seating. Only had some lite bites for sharing, Nachos and Chicken wings which were very tasty and decent portion size (if snacking) Decent selection of draught beers on offer too. Staff very pleasant and amenable.
