Have walked past many times, and it has always been busy.<br><br>Nice atmosphere inside and a nice recently renovated outside area.<br><br>Staff are friendly, attentive, and welcoming.<br><br>The menu covers a large range of tastes, and a lot of dishes are homemade.<br>Hubby had the Boston burger, which came with chips and coleslaw. He was very impressed with the burger being so tasty, and all of it was freshly cooked.<br>I had the chilli con carni. Very nice 👌..didn't think it would have a kick at all, but it did just right. Rice was cooked perfectly. Garlic bread was a nice surprise, but don't bother with the salad.<br><br>Well worth the money. We will be back as we want to try some more dishes 😋

Great Place on the seafront. Large choice of Beers and Wines. Sunday Roast very good. Steak and Ale pie very good. Moist, pleanty of gravey, accompanying vedge well cooked. Only dissalpointing dish was Garlick Mushrooms. Not a lot of taste. Overall a good choice for food and drinks. Buzzing atmosphere. Staff all at the top of their game. Outside seating area a great place to watch the world go by. Never boring. Live music some nights. Went 3 nights on the trott. So must have been good

Went in for a drink on a very hot day. The choice of of pubs in Eastbourne is very limited and most we found in the middle looked a fair bit in Need of smartening up . Anyway glad we walked back to this one.<br>Nice staff , good choice of beers nice spot on the corner too.

This pub is the nicest pub I have ever been to! The food is amazing! And the staff are all really lovely, kind and obliging. They can't do enough to welcome you and make your visit memorable. I don't even live in East Sussex but they have me coming back every year. Today we were served by Olivia. I am disabled and she was so kind and helpful in helping my mum and I. She is professional, polite, kind and hardworking. Nothing was to much trouble. She is a real credit to your team. People who don't visit this pub are seriously missing out!

Fantastic dinner here last night…I had lamb shank with roast potatoes and veg. I was expecting frozen veg and pots but was really surprised when it came up. Beautiful crispy pots and lovely veg. The lamb was so tender it was gorgeous. Hubby had the steak and ale pie and said that was lovely too. Staff all lovely and friendly. A great find in a lovely location. When we come back to Eastbourne, we will definitely be heading straight here for something to eat and drink 😋🤩

Nice pub just off the seafront as there are not many at all on the front in Eastbourne, this one is thankfully lovely. Outside seating area is pleasingly clean & cosy, just unfortunate you are not on the sea front. Inside is spacious with a good airy feel with plenty of seating. Only had some lite bites for sharing, Nachos and Chicken wings which were very tasty and decent portion size (if snacking) Decent selection of draught beers on offer too. Staff very pleasant and amenable.

Friendly and fun with a good atmosphere. Bar staff polite and smiley. The door staff helpful and professional with genuinely good nature's.<br>Top quality choices in bands, music and karaoke.<br>A must if you want a great time.<br>I also have to mention that they run a very safe policy for anyone who is feeling uncomfortable or not safe.<br>I think it's called Sarah's law but I'm not 100% sure on that.<br>5 star's all the way

Off the cuff dinner. Was flipping lovely. Plentiful and tasty and very reasonable price. I had lamb shank and my friend had roast beef. Both done to perfection. Get there early as we nearly never got a table.
