Perfect place for a weekend away and definitely worth it for the sea view and pier It’s the best location right by the seafront and still retains much of that grand Victorian look which is hard to find. Very welcoming staff and beautiful ballroom with evening entertainment on the Saturday. Our only downside was that the bathroom was quite small so a tight fit between the shower and toilet.

Great location but shabby room Great location close to the Pier and room had lovely sea view. Very good breakfast and friendly staff. Room was shabby with tired decor and was also dusty. Would have been nice to have bedside lamps. Furthermore, an oil filled radiator had been left switched on at its maximum temperature setting which we didn't notice till the small hours of the morning after suffering discomfort and sleeplessness due to the heat.

In need of refurbishment and much better cleaning, friendly staff, excellent location. Location is amazing, breakfast was good and staff were very friendly. Though no AC fans were already provided in the room without needing to request them. The room hadn’t been properly cleaned and the lifts felt quite dodgy. There was no air conditioning and the bathroom window didn’t open.

Really enjoyed our stay, we will definitely return. The photograph was taken from our bedroom window The location was great, the staff very friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. Carpets in reception were very worn and thread bare in places

Great location, breakfast is good and staff are very friendly. Parking only £6 a day which is a bonus for a seaside town Location and cleanliness It’s a bit dated and could do with a refurbishment

I absolutely love the Burlington Hotel. It's bang smack on the seafront, everything works, the beds are comfortable and it's at a very affordable price. Thank you Burlington, lovely.

Burlington - good location Location. Car park behind hotel. Breakfast was quite good. Dog friendly. Door latch in room doesn't feel safe, no night latch if I was staying on my own I would feel uneasy. On the Friday night there was a large group of teenagers being very noisy, swearing, threatening to fight each other, obviously drinking, this went on until 5am which didn't allow us a good night's sleep. Sarurday night was fine.

This is a very comfortable hotel. Whilst a little dated in places, this in no way spoilt the visit. Breakfast
Room comfort
Staff communication
Bar foods
The room carpet could be slightly cleaner but since I own a carpet cleaning business I'm bound to say this !!

Honestly couldn’t fault the hotel, well positioned, rooms clean, good breakfast and superb sea view. Yes it’s dated but for us it was a great nights sleep and base for our days in Eastbourne

Staff were friendly, parking on the premises was good, room was comfortable and spacious, bar was good, breakfast was good. We booked a superior sea view twin room, and bathroom window didn't open and extractor fan didn't work, and therefore, in a narrow bathroom, was very hot. Also there was no blind in the bathroom.
Not being over fussy, but when a superior room was booked, we would expect better quality toilet rolls and toileteries. This let down the standard of room, as apart from that it was good.
