Fantastic Value! Only £21 for a room!, exceeded expectations for the price and great location! Shower a bit weak.

Good deal in February! Front desk & dining room staff were extremely helpful, especially with my Gluten intolerance.
Hotel right on seafront, shops & restaurants very close.
Very good deal including a good breakfast
Rooms & upstairs corridors far too hot.
Room was small but adequate, rather a trek to the lift, but it's a long hotel so someone has to be!

Friendly, helpful staff make up for a slightly dated building. Clean and comfy room, perfect location for beach and shops, enclosed car park at a reasonable cost per 24hrs is a great extra.

For us a weekend get away it was lovely staff vary welcoming food was great value plenty of choice and hot .lovely relaxing atmosphere would definitely rebook. Maybe a little bit more detail spent on appearance in places. BUT A VARY OLD TRADITIONAL HOTEL 170YEARS OLD THIS HAS TO BE EXPECTED SO FROM US NOT A CRITICISM. LOVE IT .

Perfect stay for what we needed - reception staff couldn’t have been more helpful or empathetic to our situation. Highly Incredible staff, perfect location, car work is brilliant and so reasonably priced, facilities are great, cleanliness is very good To be picky it’s a bit dated so some decor could do with a refresh but honestly it was perfect for what we needed and I wouldn’t even score it down for that

I loved the sea view from the superior room and yes the hotel could do with a lick of paint outside but overall no complaints. Nothing

So just had a 1 night stay 14-15th Feb and it was lovely … we booked a meal for the evening unfortunately it wasn’t for us as what we ordered had ran out … only open for an hr ! However Anne was brilliant and arranged a refund for us … and true to their word they called and refunded …. Yes it does need a bit of touching up in places … but our room 212 was clean and the bed was very comfy …. We will return the staff were lovely and the singer last night was amazing …. If you want a 5 star hotel book one but for the price we paid we was definitely happy with it

The staff were friendly and helpful, didn’t appreciate dirty underwear hanging in the bathroom when we arrived, mug’s were not cleaned or replaced when we went out for the day, the food was really nice and we liked the self serve breakfast and the sea views from the bar and restaurant.

The shower was nice and powerful. The room was clean. I always wipe down the TV remote wherever I stay. The antibac wipe was clear after giving the remote the once over. Breakfast was good and is better value if you pay at the hotel.

Value for money paid It's a lovely old building, which must have been magnificent in It's heyday. Right opposite the pier great location, short walk to shops and restaurants.I read the reviews before booking, but the price was excellent and let's be fair you don't expect much when you pay peanuts. However the room was comfortable and warm, yes the decor could be updated, fresh coat of paint would not go amiss. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.Overall we had a great time in Eastbourne and would book this hotel again. Nothing negative to say.

The staff are amazing at the Burlington - I've stayed there before and always had great service. It is right on the beach front, moments away from the pier, and about 5-10 minutes walk from the train station (I use a walking stick, so am slower) - you have to walk through town to get to the station. The rooms are always clean and well maintained, and staff are willing to provide extras on request. The only real downside (when on the top floor) is the water pressure is rather low.

We were happy with our stay, a nice room overlooking the pier. I guess the decor and carpet were a little dated/shabby, but it was perfect for our theatre date. Breakfast was ample, great choice, plenty of it. Staff were very friendly. The hotel was perfect position for theatres. A nice walk at night. Yes, it was a typical British seaside hotel, great value for money. Carpet was a bit grubby looking.

Burlington hotel We like Louis and phoebe. Always friendly and very helpful everytime we stay there . The price for a doggy to stay has doubled in price to £20 . As a dog owner this is off putting...£10 is fine ...£20 is too much as it makes the stay more expensive.
