Arrived 19.12.25 for 2 night's stay, arrived around 6pm, main door was locked and buzz the bell a few times and no answer, another person outside she had to call someone inside to open the door went to our room 313 wasn't up to standard, shower taking long to drain mattress bigger then bed base, ended up falling out of the bed, following morning went down for breakfast and spoke with abbie at reception who was very understanding and professional, and also changed my room to 307 which was upgraded and will be diffently returning due to Abbie professional service in dealing with my issue, well done to the morning team.

Good WiFi, modernised room, comfy bed, nice large room, friendly welcome, no mattress protector (was surprising), plenty of sockets near bed for devices. Great breakfast!

I enjoyed my stay at the Burlington hotel. I stayed in a double room on the fourth floor. The lift is a bit tiny but it does the job. There is a car park at the rear of the hotel which is £6 a day for residents. You pay at reception. Buffet breakfast was good. Hot food choice of ,bacon, eggs, tomatoes, baked beans, hash browns, sausages and black pudding. Cereals and pastries and porridge and fruit and of course a toast machine. The location of the hotel is very close to Eastbourne pier. There are bus stops at the pier so you can go to Hastings or Brighton quite easily enjoying the coastal route. It is not far to walk to the shopping area I Eastbourne or you can catch a bus outside the pier. Whilst I was staying, there was entertainment each night in the ballroom area, usually a singer

Sue A The hotel staff are helpful and friendly.
The food was lovely, plenty of choice.
The hotel was decorated lovely for christmas.
Entertainment was good , singing ,dancing, and a quiz..
The room was comfortable , but very warm..
Disabled access was a problem for my mum as the only access is through the dining room hall , which is okay when it's not busy , when it is busy , its difficult to navigate a mobility scooter round tables and chairs and people queuing to enter the dinning room hall.
It would be better if one of the set of steps at the front of the hotel was made into a ramp .

A very enjoyable stay. I will definitely be back again later on in the year. The food was excellent, plenty of choice, both evening meal and breakfast.
The staff were very helpful. Nothing was ever too much trouble for them.
Our room was perfect, waking up to a view of the sea every morning was lovely.
The location of the hotel couldn’t be better, not only for the sea front but for the shops too.
The hotel car park was very reasonable too at £6.00 per day.

Christmas 2025 The staff are all friendly, and they make time for a chat even though they are busy.
The breakfast and other meals offer a good variety and are served hot and cooked perfectly.
The hotel was decorated beautifully for Christmas, and we were made welcome from the start of our stay.
The entertainment exceeded what we expected , offering a singalong, quiz, and dancing. Anyone of any age could join in
My 87-year-old mum had a really good time .
The only thing I think that needs improving is the disabled accessibility .
If you have a mobility scooter, the only way in and out of the hotel is via the dinning hall you have to wait outside for a member of staff to let you in, once in, you have to dodge tables to get to the reception area. When there are people queuing up to enter the dinning hall, this becomes very awkward when on a mobility scooter .
A ramp at the front entrance of the hotel would be more suitable, I'm sure there is a way of covering one set of the side steps with a ramp.

Lovely christmas so reasonable Brill value. Good food for what we paid.
2 nights of music so lovely atmosphere for Christmas.
Christmas lunch for 50 very good and a lot cheaper than other places.
Only one item. Windows on front first floor advertised as deluxe room but so old and full of holes. Need replacing. Stick to 2nd, 3rd and 4th floor.

Arrived on a horrid evening, cold blowing a gale, dark & wet evening. Friendly & welcoming reception staff set a positive tone to the stay. Hotel is clearly aged, reception & front of house was well presented. The room whilst reasonably recently decorated was showing wear & tear. Given the price paid it was acceptable & I'd stay again!

Friendly. Good location. Good room rate with breakfast Hotel in need of a major refurbishment, which I understand is due to take place in 2026. I did note new carpet in some areas and some redecoration had been done. Once completed, it will be magnificent and out of my price range.
The major downside for me was that my room was too hot, and I was unable to reduce the temperature.
