We were give room 130 initially but this was above a generator. The noise was horrendous. We spoke to reception and were offered to change room immediately. Had 405 (sea view). Reception were super helpful although room 130 should not be used unless deaf.

My elderly parents needed a short break and we booked a room here. What made it a positive experience for myself and my olds was the two wonderful ladies at reception. Both could not have been more kind and helpful when dealing with them and me, both are a credit to the hotel. Thank you both for being so caring.

Everything about my stay was exceptionally good but especially the welcome given to my dog. This is the most pet friendly hotel I have ever stayed in! Well done!
During your planned refurbishment putting electrical plug sockets either side of the beds, with USB ports if possible, would be a very good idea.

The hotel put in a room which backed onto the lift shadt so was very noisy all night.
We did mention this is the morning and was told we should have said something and they would have moved us, but what the hotel should have done is not put us in the room in the first place if other rooms were available, all hotel staff know the rooms by lifts and stairwells can be noisy. Its about being proactive not reactive isn't it?

We stay here regularly, and irrespective of the room we book we always receive the same welcome and great treatment.

The location of the town and pier is excellent.
We told reception that we were not happy with our room and that we had been coming to the hotel for the last 5 years. Although the hotel was nowhere near full we were not moved or even offered an alternative.
