Excellent value for money, in what is a lovely hotel with some brilliant views overlooking the sea.
The room was rather spacious for a single room, which I was pleased with. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a decent size. The staff were really helpful during my stay, and even showed the World Cup matches in the bar. I didn't eat on site, so I am unable to comment on the food, but could see the restaurant was busy both in the morning and evening. They even offered the opportunity to make a packed lunch for guests for £5.00 each, which was good value for money for those who needed that. The value for the room was excellent, and had a lovely view overlooking the beach.
The window only opened a short amount though, to stop drunkards from climbing out onto the balcony or to prevent pesky seagulls from entering the room. This would normally be okay, but in the midst of a heatwave, it was like a sauna in the room at times. Unfortunately, there were only a select amount of fans available, but maybe the hotel could use this as a way to plan for the future and maybe have a fan in every room.

Pleasant and comfortable stay for a few days in a great location.
We had a lovely large room and bathroom, a good breakfast with several choices, and we usually ate dinner in the bar area which also had several good choices. We usually come here every year for a few days and are happy with the set up. Pleasant and comfortable, but not fancy. Great location near the pier, shops and cafes. We also managed to get a parking space after a short wait thankfully.
There was no daily housekeeping, which is fine as we didn't need our towels changed or beds made up daily, but we did need our bins emptied once and more toilet paper, which we had to request at reception. Probably due to staff cuts, but perhaps some basic daily housekeeping checks should be implemented?

Great location, dog friendly , staff very pleasant and helpful, spacious room.
The only downside really was only one lift working. Also the increase in alcohol prices.

Great location, clean and comfortable room and very friendly staff
The room had a lovely view of the sea. The room was clean, large and comfortable. Lovely welcome at reception upon arrival. The evening entertainment was very enjoyable with a quiz and singing. The breakfast was perfectly adequate. Parking is extra but very close to the hotel and we could leave the car in the car park until 3pm on the day of departure

Cleaning could be improved, particularly in rooms, stains in toilet old toothpaste on tiles in bathroom, also second lift out of order which causes problems at busy times, as only two people can fit in. Need a disabled toilet/ladies on ground floor so have to go down to basement to get to this

Absolutely brilliant hotel im partially disabled due to stroke solo traveller and all staff have gone above n beyond, I was placed on 1st floor sea view lovely room but too low down for me felt like n alien in goldfish bowl, following day was given perfect room top floor 😀 😉 sea views happy meeee, meals so far have plenty to choose from, n buffet breakfast again plenty and constantly refilled. Am definitely coming back with my mum as there's plenty for us to do without climbing hills

Right in the seafront and very near to the pier, shops and restaurants, staff were all lovely and friendly, when you first walk in the reception rooms look amazing.
Very dated, only 1 lift working for the last 2 days of our stay. Breakfast was very repetitive, I don’t eat cereal or bread so ended up having egg bacon and tomato every single day.

The room was clean, bed was comfortable. The carpet was stained. The tea and coffee was good. Car parking could be an issue as it has limited spaces. You cannot pre book its first come gets the spaces. Breakfast was good. I would use the hotel again.

Great location. Room 231 - bed was comfortable, room was clean.
Staff were friendly and polite. Breakfast for 10 was really nice. Plenty of choice.

One of our group couldn’t come (serious injury three days before) hotel wouldn’t let us reschedule that room for a later date. I thought that was unreasonable.
