Comfy bed and decent shower and few cuppas available with decent TV and radiators. I had a good night's kip. Was chill. I would stay here again it has an interesting vibe. Thank you God. Amen.

Fantastic sea-view room, on the 4th floor, with view of the pier and floral gardens. Very good food. All in all, great value. Cheerful staff and good service.

Around 5pm Every Day There's A Murmaration Of Starlings Over The Pier, People From Around The World Come Just To See This Trust Me When I Say U Don't Want To Miss This, Try Google But Will Never Do Justice To Seeing With Naked Eye The Wandering Wallsgrove

The staff were friendly and very helpful. The room we stayed in was large with all the normal amenities including one of the oldest shower fittings I've seen. Once you master the temperature balance you couldn't remember how you got there! Mind you that could have
been me. A bit dated but clean and cheap. Bar overlooks the pier and beach, best location in Eastbourne. Close to a street of restaurants and bars. Close to the Beacon Centre. Great location!

The first impression was not very good. You park at the back of the hotel, and the building looked awful. Booked in, and the lifts felt very old, and to be honest, a bit scary. But our room had been refurbished and was clean. We had a beautiful sea view with views of Eastbourne pier a bonus. The staff were friendly and helpful. We did go out but came back for the entertainment later on, which was a singer. Played various music, which was ok. Bar prices reasonable and bar staff attentive. For the price we couldn't fault it. But if you want 5 star, this isn't for you.

I can't see why there's so many negative reviews. Our room was spotless and had a lovely sea view. Our bed was comfortable and the room quiet. The hotel itself is an architectural timepiece and has way more character than your average chain Hotel.
The staff are warm and friendly and we both really enjoyed the night entertainment. The entertainer on Saturday did a quiz and then sung. Fair play to the guy, he was clearly a good singer and by the end of the evening most people were dancing.
Life's full of moaning Minnie's. I've enjoyed my stay here and will stay here again if I return to Eastbourne. Thank you.🙂

Equipe très sympa mais certaines chambres mériteraient d'être rénovées. Cela manque aussi d'insonorisation.
Emplacement quasi en face de la jetée, parfait.

Had a lovely stay here with my Granddaughter. Very central, nice help yourself buffet and the gentleman on reception, may have been the Manager , super friendly and efficient .
Yes the rooms are a little dated but everything else makes it a pleasant, cheap stay

The first room we were given had not been upgraded in a long time. The mattress was filthy and stained with no mattress protector, and there was mould on the window frames and tiles over bath.

Love it here, we've always had a lovely room and this time was no exception! Great size, very clean. Beautiful beach and pier view. Had an amazing sun rise from our room too.
The hotel is so central, highstreet for food is just round the corner, fabulous popular esplanade walk starts just across the road, we do that walk every time we come to Eastbourne.
Staff all incredibly friendly and welcoming. We had a drink in the bar which is very reasonably priced.

We had a great time here. Everything was clean and fresh.
Staff were welcoming and friendly.
Our room was cosy. Pillows could do with a upgrade as were quite hard but everything else was perfect. Thank god for a blind to cover the window whilst on the loo did make us laugh lol.
We had breakfast included which was great a nice buffet breakfast everything was lovely 😍
Thank you

We stayed in a double superior room and it was very clean and lots of room . It's an old hotel so don't expect anything posh but it's in an Idea location opposite the pier on the seafront and the town centre is only minutes away. Lots of places nearby to eat if you don't want to eat in the hotel.
The staff are very friendly and very helpful.
There is a private car park that isn't very big at the rear on a first come first served basis and charged at £6 per night (Jan 2025)

I put my dad up in here when he comes over.
It does the job and is close by.
Doesn’t cost much for a night. Pretty quiet and beds are okay for comfort.
Curtains could do with a wash and bathroom renovating.
Some damp water patches about but it’s expected for size of building.
Enjoy it! My dad always does!
We prefer it to others on same road

Second visit, very good staff, room was clean and comfortable and only £32 , buffet breakfast £8 ( thru Expedia), right on the sea front, yards from the promenade. Car park is at the rear of the building, £6 per 24 hours.

We got a little more than what we paid for. The food was good standard and the service was very quick, no delays in preparation.

The reception staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Our room was specious and clean, but the hotel looks tired. We loved the Christmas decorations, and the breakfast buffet was great. Parking is available at the back on a first come first served basis.
