I didn't expect much. All I booked was a standard double room (the cheapest one available) but we were pleasantly surprised. The soon was clean and of "premier inn standard". Spacious walk in shower with plenty of hot water and toiletries. The receipt staff at the check-in (lady with dreadlocks and gentlemen with glasses, I'm sorry I didn't catch your names) were very friendly and helpful. I will definitely book again this summer.

So, my room has clearly had a fresh like of paint, but the windows need something doing too bring them up to date, TV in the room is basic but working, water for the shower is a low flow, staff friendly and sea views are great

Another good example of a hotel on the seafront.

Rooms are poor and need refurbishment. Creakiest floor boards ever. Floor also in room was not level. Staff great but cannot rescue this place.

Our friends were staying at the hotel with their dog so we met up with them in the bar. We sat by the window looking out to sea. Choice of ale was very limited so had to settle for Guinness from the other bar which, at the time, was closed but the barman got it and brought it over to me. Our friends were very happy with the hotel and their room, saying that the hotel is very flexible regarding dogs.

Great location opposite the pier. Great for access to promenade, town and Beachy Head. Room a tad worn but acceptable for a 3 night stay. Dining room staff were so pleasant, polite and helpful. Food to a good standard for the price paid. Entertainment was good and fun. A bit cheekey to charge £6 a night to use the hotel car park, but I suppose it is a way of making money. Yep will vit again in the future.

My room was clean and comfortable. The food was very tasty, with plenty of choice.
All of the staff were professional and friendly. They were very supportive when I had a collision in my car near the hotel. They went out of their way to offer me advice and provide me with details of local garages.
I am very grateful and can’t praise them highly enough!

Welcoming staff. International breakfast ok. Very good price, considering the location directly on the sea and the elegant Victorian building. The problem is that the building would need a renovation of the premises, which are very old, post-war style; in particular the rooms are very basic, from the point of view of the furniture, the heating and the walls, as well as the doors and their closure.

Very old hotel, looks like from titanic movie inside😁 But relatively large rooms, good prizes, there is everything you need and above all, a super place in the first row from the sea!

Currently staying at the hotel and already so pleased by the experience. Was offered the chance to bid for a cheap room upgrade, completed an easy online check in, and the hotel has 24hour reception. As much as we hoped the weather would be warm for our visit, the UK has done what it does best and given us clouds and rain, so our gorgeous room is ever so slightly chilly. The heating is on a timer but we spoke to reception and were immediately offered a space heater to warm us up. Will definitely gamble against the weather later in the year and stay again. Thank you

Based in Brighton, just needed somewhere to stay overnight due to work commitments. Low score reviews nearly put me off booking here, but glad I I did. For the minimum price I paid based on nearby properties - huge clean room and bathroom, sea view, all amentities. Working TV, extra pillows, hair dryer, iron, coffee machine, hot chocolate, morning treats as cookies, bottles of still water. And not last very friendly service at reception checking in late at night. Expected the bare minimum and was pleasantly surprised. Will definitely be staying here again.

The hotel is at nice location next to the sea.

The lift has a capacity of 8 people, but we struggled to fit in 4 people, a dog and a couple bags.

I wouldn't say that the room was the biggest in the world.

The staff quite friendly and helpful.

If I had to choose something that was the most inconvenient I would say that the lift and stairs where quite a distance away room the room, causing quite a trek to travel between the two.

This place could be amazing. The hotel is old and run down. In dire need of TLC. The owners should really invest in this place. However, the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful and made the stay better for us. They went out of their way to talk to us at breakfast and were polite throughout. The male receptionist was really nice, he changed my room when I wasn't happy to a much nicer one. I can't fault the staff, and i take my hat off to them for making the best out of what they have to work with. 10/10 for the staff team.. They deserve a raise...

We had a lovely seaside stay as a family at The Burlington. Having decided to pay a little extra for the sea view rooms we were very happy with a superb view of the pier from each. All three rooms were very clean and comfortable. Every staff member we met was friendly, welcoming and attentive. Breakfast was a great buffet with a really good range of food making it great value for money. We had a wonderful stay and are planning to book again soon. Thank you very much!
