Enjoyable stay with reasonable entertainment Great location by the pier, breakfast was good quality, room was large with plenty of storage space and lounging space, bathroom was big and warm Room was cold on arrival but soon warmed up once the radiator had been switched on. Bar prices a little steep

Had a mystery trip here for a friend's 50th. The place is very outdated but the hotel atmosphere so welcoming and the staff couldn't do enough for us. The food was so nasty, breakfast was lovely, the rooms were clean and beds comfortable.
The view was lovely. We had a sea view only one problem it is absolutely boiling in the rooms had to get up early hours to open the windows so hot.

Possibly the best worst hotel in England. Highly recommended. If you like large and sprawling seaside hotels that don't look like they've been decorated for several decades, you really can't beat the Burlington. The big English breakfast buffet even features small packets of Marmite. What's not to like? The ubiquitous stained carpets, jammed sash windows and occasional misery guts holding fort at reception won't make me stop liking this place, even if they also insist on making sure that the beds are as far away from the wall sockets as possible.

Only one and Half lifts lol 1 lift holds 4 people and the other holds 1 person ?? Major issue when it comes to checking out waited 20 mins for lift and we were top floor with v heavy bags.

The desk staff were very helpful, as when we complained about the lift noise in the room they did offer to move us . Meal was lovely that we had on our last night .Room clean and tidy .enjoyed the entertainment. All staff around the building were very pleasant and helpful. Staff also offered first aid to a RTA victim in front of hotel and stayed while police and ambulance crew arrived showing how well trained they were with first aid .

Good location .room was a great size .it was warm .friendly staff . Nice breakfast . pity about the coffee machine as I made a cup and there was a hair in my cup from the machine and when I went to add water under where the water went it was filthy .I told the staff and they said they couldn't do anything that day .the safe I couldnt use as it was not working and locked open and kept beeping it did eventually stop though.they did offer for us to move rooms but as by then the safe had stopped beeping we decided not too and we were shattered after a 5 hour journey and didn't feel.like packing up again and moving 2 floors up.
