A credit to the hotel. Sadly the bathroom needs a good refresh as cracked walls and needs painting.
Also our cups in room weren't clean....
Lipstick and tea/coffee marks. I washed in sink myself which took minutes to do.

Clean and served a purpose
Location for a triathlon
Standard Room size was ok. Bathroom very old and tired. Window looked out onto very dirt fire escape stairs and was not nice.

Uncomfortable and unpleasant stay. Kind of disappointing but the staffs were great.

A really nice friendly place to stay even if your not stopping i would personally pop in for coffee and cake waa brilliant, now tje decor in some places is a little outdated in my opinion however i understand its probley a listed building, the furniture in the main entrance very conformable and tje resturant and bat area emaculate. The reception very helpful and attentive if needed, my only preference i would prefer a hard mattress their was nothing.wrong with my room and i enjoyed my stay

The sea view was excellent and the room was up to expectation. The staff at reception were welcoming and were very helpful when we explained that due to my wife had difficulty in having a shower in a bath it was no trouble to them to transfer us to another room with a walk in shower.
Car parking could be improved. One night we were unable to park in the hotel car park. Breakfast could be improved by including fried eggs or alternative boiled eggs.

Too short, wanted to stay longer
Friendly staff who were always available and willing to help. When I asked for a local cab company, the lady on the desk wrote down several for me and made recommendations.
The view from our room was beautiful. I loved going to sleep and waking up to the sound of crashing waves on the beach. Not a complaint but given the size and capacity of the hotel, a bigger car park would have been advantageous as we had to wait a while for a space to become available.
However when I enquired about the pay machine, a young gentleman on reception desk advised of other car parks within close vicinity.

Right, yeah yesterday I came into the hotel for breakfast had a lovely breakfast ever Mat and Sarah and Luke all had to all very nice. They were pleasant and first we went to the Premier Inn two weeks ago and said they could allocate us and then when we came down on Friday said no sorry And kicked us out very happy with a battling Hotel with now booked November 22 and we are looking forward to it Mat and all the team very happy with us all just can’t believe how well everybody at our here, very happy

Nice hotel in Eastbourne. On the seafront so don't need to walk far to the beach. Room was clean, a bit small but we are not indoors all day so it didn't matter to us. Would stay here again if heading to Eastbourne

Pleasant staff really try and they all work hard
Great location great breakfast staff were nice and friendly but the hotel needs work and things in rooms need more care such as would be nice to have two pillows instead of one and a hairdryer that works.
The carpets in communal areas need hoovering only one pillow in my room, and hairdryer was not working

We come to Eastbourne to visit family and always stay here. It is well positioned and great outlook.
This is our third stay at the Burlington. It is not the most luxurious or the most up to date hotel but it has great character, the ageing decor the wobbly and creaky floorboards only add to the comfy experience and the staff are lovely, friendly and personable.
On the third floor the shower has no power and the water trickles out.

Not really expecting great things after checking reviews. First impressions were lovely friendly staff. Yes the hotel is a little neglected, but it was clean enough and didn't smell ( trust me this is not always the case with Eastbourne hotels).
Breakfast was fine, again lovely staff. I'm not really sure what people expect for the price but the view alone is worth the money

Staff were lovely, breakfast was good but the hotel infrastructure has certainly seen better days.
The building could do with some renovations. Probably expected my room to be on higher a floor to get a better aerial view of the sea

I expected the hotel to be as I imagined so I was happy. The main benefit of this hotel is by far is it's location - I booked a sea view room & was on the 4th floor, panoramic views of the English Channel & Eastbourne pier, & the sun came out !!!! What more do you want 😎
