So, my room has clearly had a fresh like of paint, but the windows need something doing too bring them up to date, TV in the room is basic but working, water for the shower is a low flow, staff friendly and sea views are great

Staff friendly and helpful ,clean good location had entertainment in one bar for a Monday that was good , have stay here once before and food was lovely
To be fair the room was last min and very cheap good size room very small TV and mattress was quite firm which we found uncomfortable but we have stayed here before different room and it was good , would use again but not that room hopefully for that reason .

Easy check in, room is spacious and clean , bathroom is big. It’s hot in the room but they provided us electric fan when we requested.

Comfortable, 100% worth the price, staff were lovely, dinner was lovely! Would definitely stay again!!
The hotel was absolutely gorgeous. The room was clean, bed was comfortable bathroom was also clean and stocked up on soap and tissues. And there was extra pillows which came in very handy!
The signs pointing to rooms were a little confusing however we did figure it out very quickly.

Room was clean and comfortable, staff were welcoming and friendly, took advantage of the Breakfast option and it was very good value for money, the food was hot and tasty especially as it was a buffet breakfast, would definitely stay here again at the price we paid.
The room was behind the 2 lifts which at busy times could be heard, by time we went to bed it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be, bathroom is a little small on space, from the main room into the bathroom there was a slight slope on which I had the miss fortune of slipping on and ended up with a cut on my arm where I fell and caught my arm on the bathroom door which I did report to reception whome gave me some plasters from their first aid kit and with the advice that the floor needs some type of non slip covering on it as I was in bare feet and the floor was dry, hopefully the advice will be acted on as had it been a more fragile elder person the out come could of been more serious. Even with the miss- hap we would definitely stay again.

The room was clean. Not wheelchair friendly, there should be ramps available to use on the steps in the corridors to all the rooms, I struggled to get the wheelchair up and down 2 sets of 2 steps to be able to get to our room.

Beautiful Burlington
My fourth visit to the hotel. In a great position so close to the sea and pier.
The staff are all very helpful and cheerful.
Food available through the day as well as breakfast and dinner.

Large car park at the back of the hotel with CCTV. We have stayed in 2 really nice rooms in the past but I'm sorry to say it wasn't on my last visit.
The room didn't smell very clean on entering.
All around the window was dirty with black mould that could have been cleaned.
Bathroom needs updating.
There was a big bluebottle on the window to welcome us. We opened the window to let her out.
I appreciate that it is a very old building but a lot could be done to just make the bedroom at least smell clean and welcoming.

Excellent value and we had an unexpected bonus of entertainment/dancing on Thursday.
Breakfast was good and plentiful. We had a sea view which was marvellous. The only thing I would mention is that some of the facilities in our room and elsewhere in the hotel were in need of a refit. For example our bath, shower and toilet (albeit in an awkward position) had been replaced but the basin was old, crazed and the mastic joins were blackened.

Check in was swift and easy, car park at rear of hotel had plenty of space. All hotel staff I had dealings with were polite and helpful.
Breakfast was good and bar prices were very fair. The room was adequate but looking a little tired. The view from the rear of the hotel is not pleasant so if we stay again I would consider opting for a sea view.

Bed mattress protectors was very stained should never have been out back on bed even it it has been washed but was quickly sorted by reception apologies given and moved us to a new room no other worries

Bit noisy from street music below. Bath plug leaked and hot water was barely hot...as in just warm. Tea milk service was poor.

A vast improvement!
It is vastly improved since our last visit when it was rather run down. It has been decorated to a high standard and has all new furniture. Our superior sea view room was large and well furnished with a new bathroom.
The breakfast selection needs to be improved. Perhaps porridge and a better selection of cold items. And please get rid of the pump pots and install a good hot drink machine.
