This stay was for a lads reunion so we were looking for a no expensive place to rest.

Burlington did the job and although tired looking the rooms we’re comfortable and the staff welcoming and efficient.

Handy for pier and beach across the road and only 15 mins walk from station.

Did not have breakfast as was not included so filled up at The Spoons (one of two in the Costa del Eastbourne)

Would return

Single ensuite room for the night Room was just what I needed to rest in after travelling down from Manchester. Proximity to the beach lovely The view was a bit disappointing facing the back area of the hotel but understandable at the cheap rate - would have loved a sea view!

For the price it was good. Lovely breakfast (buffet of full English and continental). We had two superior twin rooms with sea view and they were spacious rooms. Sea view nice, but windows dirty and they just open tiny bit (one window opened fully and I loved sitting by this window first thing in the morning etc. and enjoy the view - photo attached). Comfy and clean beds. I checked my mattress and it seemed new, no stains etc. Bathroom clean. Coffee maker, kettle, hair dryer in the room. Walls nice and clean and nice colours. However carpet quite old and dirty and there is dust in a lot of places in the hotel. Generally cleanliness lets it down. Everything else is good. However for me most important was that the bed, towels, bathroom were clean, room hoovered etc. Dust. Dirty windows in the seaview room, which defeats the object, as most windows don't open fully, so you don't feel like looking through the window it's so dirty. One window opened fully (we had two rooms, so four windows) and the view was lovely.

I am glad that we booked a sea-view superior double room for our stay in Eastbourne with family. The hotel was an old however our room was amazingly space and the view from the second floor was splendid. Our family loved it and we could definitely come in and recommend to our friends.

Amazing view from room, location was fantastic, value for money. Amazing location to the pier and the town. Friendly staff, Comfy bed, breakfast was plentiful and nice. Could be cleaner, had a newer room but marks on walls and skirting boards made it look grubby. Wouldn’t take much to have a wipe around. Cobwebs. Fried eggs and mushrooms would be nice at breakfast.

Decent hotel with amazing view and location The staff was very friendly and helpful, allowed us late checkout free of charge and were happy to let us use the towels in the beach so super accommodating. The rooms are actually nicely decorated, very comfortable bedding and super spacious with a good design. The view was spectacular and the beach was not even a minute walk away. For the price, you really can’t fault it! The bathrooms could be improved, they’re the bare minimum. Also breakfast buffet was lacking, definitely need more variety especially with drinks, a good coffee could’ve gone a long way. Also elevators always had an issue, were broken down most of the time and are very frightening to use because they can be unreliable.

A nice place to stay Have stayed here a few times. Always good value for money. Great choice for breakfast. The room was a bit old fashioned but for the price it was comfortable enough. I am an anmial lover but I really don't think it's right that dogs should be allowed in the restaurant when people are eating. Over breakfast there was a dog drooling over their owners eating their food. Very off-putting.

Reception staff very welcolming and helpful! Brilliant location. Room size fine, but very hot as no air con just a fan. Poor breakfast choices and breakfast staff unhelpful. I loved the old fashioned charm of the hotel but room needed TLC.

The breakfast had a good selection and tasted good. The building itself is very dated and could do with a few repairs.

The staff are fantastic especially on reception and the restaurant I love this hotel and so does my dog and that’s so important it’s our second stay and we will come again The bedrooms could do with a bit of a referb as the paper was coming off the wall and the bathroom door had paint hanging off of a dent

The hotel is in the centre of the seafront so everything is in walking distance.

Lovely hotel the interior wasn’t as good as expected I liked the hotel and I loved it was next to the sea . Listening to the sea was so relaxing and provided a light breeze. I upgraded to a superior room there was a piece of wallpaper torn off and rust around the bath. The plug had come off the chain had to use a teaspoon to pride it out . Bath very difficult to get in and out of. Coffee machine was available but no instructions asked for an ironing board but not provided.Bed was extremely hard. Staff were mostly friendly and accommodating.
