The Burlington was fine for our requirements but it needs a lot of TLC if we were to stay again.
Downstairs was very spacious and plenty of seating to sit in (when there isn’t entertainment!)
Everywhere is looking tired and in need of a new coat of paint and new carpet.

Lovely stay
Fabulous location right near the pier. Lovely view and waking up to sound of the waves (and seagulls). Great staff. Nothing was too much trouble.

Absolutely lovely hotel location opposite the beach and pier the gardens are in full bloom colourful flowers room was perfect we have decided to book a room with a sea view next time

Eastbourne Airshow 2024
Sea front view 😍 we stayed in the superior room to watch the airshow 2024 and the view was superb from our room.
There is no air con in the room. Room windows and balconies were not clean .

The hotel enjoys the best location, in my opinion, in Eastbourne. Opposite the pier and beach and close to the town centre. Rooms are basic but perfectly ok. The hotel had a singer on but I could only endure more than one song so decided to take our drinks to the nice “indoor balcony” overlooking the beach. But others did enjoy it.
The big thing that lets this hotel down is breakfast. It was terrible, cheap ingredients, rubbish back, plastic sausage, no butter, bad coffee. I complained and was simply told head office source the supplier.
All staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I would go back but next time room only!

Location and views were great. Great local shopping and seafront location.
Cleaning of rooms not great. Double bed not set up but we just took the twin beds to save any hassle.

Room was comfortable, everything we needed. Staff were really good, helpful and friendly. Food was very good. Great location right on the sea front. On site parking useful.
Sadly the hotel needs some investment and renovation but the staff make up for that. In its day it must have been a beautiful hotel.
