Excellent stay
Excellent stay, stayed at the Burlington the last couple of years but was booked under a friends name last time. Incredibly friendly staff and was a pleasure to be there. Will more than likely be back this time next year! Many thanks!

Great stay!
The staff were very helpful, polite and always smiling. Breakfast was good, always full with all of the foods, coffee was hot. Bedroom was upgraded to a superior one, it was huge!!

I attended a course at the Burlington and stayed for 3 nights. Yes it’s a bit tired and showing its age, but I could not fault the friendliness and attitude of the staff. They couldn’t do enough for us. What lovely people. We had set menus throughout the stay - tasty, good portions, good breakfasts too.

The Reception & Foyer were nice spacious and fairly modern - staff were nice & friendly too.
No proper running hot water in my room and the telephone did not work either.

It's a lovely traditional hotel building on the seafront, very close to the centre. We liked the quirky lift! The room was a good size and pretty quiet. Very good value for money.
The water pressure for the cold tap was very low - hardly any coming out! There was a used towel on the back of the bathroom door. Rubbish under the beds. Just a few small details. Happy with our stay though.

Does this hotel need upgrades? Yep. Does it look like it has seen better days in terms of decor? Yep. However, for solo business trip for a night or two you cannot fault it.
Location is ideal, area is quiet and the breakfast was excellent so, despite the carpets, paintwork and furnishings not being ultra modern, the hotel was perfect for what I needed.
