Burlington hotel stay Amazing customer service from all the staff especially Nicki who was exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Our room was a great size, clean and lovely seaview. We had the half board option, breakfast was good however felt there should have been more and better choices for the evening main meal. Also not good the strong smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor on our floor.

Had a great time. Breakfast was very good, the room was spacious, the bed comfortable. Loved the beach front location. Able to park my car for the 4 days.
Staff excellent
Front of house Staff excellent
The room we had 128 had no curtains or blinds in the bath room.
Anybody coming down the fire escape, could have a free show.

Bright Burlington The room was a good size and well furnished with a comfortable bed and an interesting view partially over the sea. All the staff were friendly and helpful. We had an excellent meal in the restaurant with a view over the sea. It is in a great location by the sea and near the pier. Good parking for £6. The bathroom was very narrow with restricted space around the toilet, although the shower was brilliant.

The Hotel staff are friendly and helpful the room was ok comfortable clean and tidy the bar staff were very good did not really have much trouble with anything The lift was quite a distance from the room so.not easy to bring luggage into the room and a lot.of doors to make it even more difficult

The Burlington Hotel is a beautiful historic building. The glory of it has faded and so yes, there were a few water stains on the ceiling and new lower quality later insertions into the fabric. But for the price it was a fantastic stay. The small single had everything I needed and the bed was very comfortable. It was all very clean, but could do with a refit or at least redecoration. My curtain was hanging off the rail at one end, and there wasn't a maintenance man to fix it, but I managed fine. Dinner was a pleasant surprise. 3 courses included and great portions. Breakfast was a great full English and there was also pastries, cereal, yoghurts etc on offer. The dining room is fabulous. A real gem of the Edwardian age. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and let me explore the ground floor. The location is ideal for tourists as it is right on the beach and opposite the pier. Parking spaces were limited, so I ended up parking on the street behind rather than in the hotel car park. However I only needed to purchase 1hr as street parking is free after 6pm, so it actually worked out cheaper.

Downsides:- Maintenance could have been better. For example the curtain being off one-end of the pole and too high for me to fix myself. There was no liquid soap left in the dispenser, which could easily have been checked by the maids. The shower hose was a little blocked from limescale, so I had to run my hand over the silicone nozzles to get full flow. A deadbolt would have been a good addition to the bedroom door for extra security, especially for solo travelers.

Our Pre Christmas Theatre/Hotel Break Our stay was very happy.
We were well looked after by the staff
Very helpful, friendly and polite.
Reception, dining room and Bar Staff all made our break very pleasant.
The chap doing the entertainment was a real bonus...sang beautifully and we enjoyed the Christmas Quizz
Room was a bit dated and beds were very uncomfortable and the view was of the fire escape but we chose a cheaper room so were okay with view but beds do need a bit of updating please.
Breakfast was really good and we chose to have a 3 course evening meal twice during our stay and it was very tasty and excellent value.
We were on a Theatre trip and the location of the hotel was perfect.
On the sea front....opposite the pier...
Close to the town and the Theatres.
Plenty of parking albeit at an extra cost.
We would very happily stay again and I'm sure we will.
Good value for what we paid.
I might add that altho' our room was a bit dated the communal part of the hotel was nice enough.
The beds were really uncomfortable.
Really do need attention.
No other complaints at all.

Reasonable and restful stay Quiet and clean rooms. The room seemed recently renovated, very clean and quiet. All good - a small issue I don't know why it happened, the hot water in the shower didn't get very hot. But it worked when my husband used it before.

We couldn't fault the friendliness of the staff, especially the barman who was working on the evening of 31st January, and the ladies at breakfast, talking of breakfast the food was very good and plenty of choice, the location was great, however the room was dated, dirty and the bed was like sleeping on a concrete slab! The noise outside at night was extremely off-putting with lots of drunken shouting

The hotel is in a good position by the pier and the beach.
The staff were lovely and very helpful.
The room was basic but perfectly adequate. The only thing that really let it down was the carpet in the room that was gritty and definitely hadn’t been hoovered.
The hotel is a bit dated now but for the price we paid I was very happy with our stay.

Very dated. Shower in bath so not used due to disability issues. High step up to the bathroom was difficult. Only one socket available. Room very cold.
