Great location
Pleasant staff who were very accommodating and went the extra mile to ensure my stay was enjoyable and comfortable. The hotel is in an excellent location for the amenities and sightseeing

The accommodation was fine for the money we paid. The bed was not comfortable and the decor in communal areas needs updating as it is shabby in places. One of the two lifts were out of order (the other one was only suitable for 2 people although it says 4). Breakfast was fine and we didn't have dinner. Good location on the beach and by the pier.

Spoilt by the noise
Very loud music and noise from the street below. After midnight and before 7 in the morning. Not the hotels fault, but room location was not good.

Been staying here for years. Its tired inside and out. One of the lifts out of service again. Shut the bar at 11pm which is stupid considering how many people were still drinking, left the hotel and walked to the The Marine. Shower was next to useless and had to keep bathroom door shut because of foul decay smell. Much better hotels, but it offers parking at £6 a day and the breakfast is not bad, plenty of choice and it was hot. Bed was in need of a new mattress.

Hotel is lovely needs a bit of TLC only one lift and only fit 2 in at a time so should get other lift fixed asap but had a lovely stay and very reasonably priced

Well located near the pier and town centre directly opposite the beach
Main lift was out of order had to use a tiny service lift which was claustrophobic and very time consuming waiting to use it could wait upto 10 minutes was ridiculous as we had our elderly mother with mobility issues

The only thing I can fault is on the final day I asked about paying for parking and they said I didn’t need to and then I was fined £50 for not paying it.

Great location and good value but sad to see such a once fine building in a state of decay.
Great breakfasts. Comfortable beds. Central location. Evening entertainment. Own large car park. Friendly staff. Lovely sea view. Many and varied restaurants nearby.
Crumbling building. Many areas need cleaning better. Minute lifts, only one of which working. General lack of maintenance. Poor Internet reception.

There is a room where you can store wheelchairs, scooters etc.
Wheelchair access is far from the reception, at a side door in the hotel that leads into the restaurant. Man calls a click and someone comes and opens, maybe.
Nice large room, but it's all very worn and needs maintenance.
An elevator is broken, so the entire hotel uses 1 elevator, where there can be a maximum of 2 people. This results in a constant queue at the elevator.
The whole concept of dinner makes no sense to a European, maybe the English are just different. In the restaurant there is only a fixed menu, in the bar across the way, you can get à la carte but you have to sit at small lounge tables. ???

I had a really lovely stay at The Burlington Hotel in Eastbourne. I did have an issue with my room when I arrived, but the staff were absolutely amazing and dealt with it straight away, moving me to another room without any fuss.
The staff were friendly, helpful and made me feel really welcome throughout my stay. The breakfast was also delicious, with plenty of tasty options to choose from.
Overall, I was really impressed with the service and how quickly they resolved the issue. I would definitely stay at The Burlington Hotel again and would happily recommend it to others! 😊

Beautiful old hotel in need of some major renovation. The rooms are spacious and updated, but lack certain amenities that are common in most modern hotels. The carpets definitely need replacement. But we loved the ambiance of this old gem and it must have been really something in its time. For the price it's a bargain and the location is awesome.

Lovely hotel more or less opposite the Pier. Yes its a bit dated and could do with a lick of paint but its in a great position. Food was ok nothing to shout about. No mushrooms at breakfast that's weird and the bacon and black pud seemed to be cooked on one side only.

Only down side the bigger lift is still out of action and the only lift available says maximum 4 people ha no chance, as most of the patrons are of the older age, you can fit 2 people or one with a suitcase. I did see people with wheelchairs and zimmer frames struggling to get in.
