This place could be amazing. The hotel is old and run down. In dire need of TLC. The owners should really invest in this place. However, the staff were amazing. So friendly and helpful and made the stay better for us. They went out of their way to talk to us at breakfast and were polite throughout. The male receptionist was really nice, he changed my room when I wasn't happy to a much nicer one. I can't fault the staff, and i take my hat off to them for making the best out of what they have to work with. 10/10 for the staff team.. They deserve a raise...

Bathroom flooring very suspect (not level but more concerningly, different vinyl flooring types and not sealed)

We recently stayed at the Burlington Hotel, Eastbourne for the third time. Each time the staff have been very friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast is very good, especially the scrambled eggs! and it is in a great location on the seafront and close to the pier.

We booked a short break at the Burlington hotel Eastbourne. This is an old characterful hotel that was clean, warm with helpful staff. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. A good overall experience.

If youâre looking for a budget hotel right on the seafront, this is a good choice. The hotel is nice though the rooms need work, but you get what you pay for. If youâre looking 4 or 5 star hotel, this isnât it.

Be careful of parking though. Hotel car park isnât very big and hotel charge you if youâre planning on parking in it on arrival whether you have a space or not!

Staff are super helpful. Breakfast was fantastic buffet. All items well cooked & toaster was quick. Some general maintenance badly needed to bring up to better standard of decoration. Bed was comfy, sheets & towels spotless. Nice view from room 110. Would stay again. Belgian Cafe next door was very good.

Brilliant staff. Especially Nicky. Great rooms, views, location, etc. Hotel can do with a lick of paint as it were. But nothing wrong with it if you're not too fussy or finicky. All clean and tidy and comfy.

Small double is what you'd expect, bit fifdicilt getting in and out of the bathroom. Wouldn't suit a larger or disabled person.
Superior double is really big and spacious.
Family room is superb. Big bay window overlooking the pier. Separate single room.
The prices for the rooms are unbelievably cheap. Would stay again!! đ

Decent enough hotel, especially for the price point itâs well located on the seafront and close to town centre. The room could have done with a deeper clean, but it wasnât dirty with clean bedding and a stocked bathroom. However our room was absolutely boiling - even with the radiator off (outside temperature was -2) we had to keep the windows open and a fan on in order to make the room a temperature that could be slept in

Beautiful, big sea front hotel. Very concerned when online check in was not working and couldnât get hold of hotel but there wasnât anything to worry about as staff on site.
Great location, traditional Victorian (I believe) building and representative of the local area. Has a holiday feel as sea views and lots of coach parties.

A room for two for not much more than we pay to pitch a tent these days!
Great location by pier and near town. Lots of eateries nearby. Easy to find.
The car park is behind and ÂŁ6 a night lasting until 3pm on day of checkout.
We took our dog and she was allowed in all areas. There's a designated corner in the dining room.
The room was nice. Better than expected after reading some of the reviews on here. We had tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, iron and board
There was hand wash and shower gel ..both provided from dispensers. Shower nice and warm. Room very warm. A bit too warm at times but it was about 2° outside.
There was some noise from floorboards.
Decor seen better days in places.
