Another lovely stay at the Burlington Hotel
Another great stay at the Burlington. Staff are excellent, and the evening entertainment was very enjoyable. The breakfast was adequate. Lovely, comfortable room with a sea view.

Pleasant room, comfy beds and location great.
Location was great, very close to beach, pier and shops.
Comfortable beds and pillows, kettle and hairdryer in room.
Fan and Iron on request at reception. We decided using the lift was not an option, very small and a bit scary.
More like a dumb waiter lift. Staff did not recommend using either, so long climb to third floor.

Charming hotel & fabulous staff!
Lovely old world charm hotel. Staff were excellent, all friendly and happy to accommodate any requests. Sea View room was lovely & spacious. The hotel rooms were well upgraded, the lobby etc had an old fashioned but charming feel. Lift is something to behold - but funny! We had a great stay and will definitely come back.
No room turn down due to being so busy, wasn’t a big deal though as reception gave you anything you needed (milk / coffee / toilet roll / towels etc). I loved it here, only wish the room had a fridge.

2 lovely ladies from house keeping. Main Lift not working. Only 2 person lift for a packed hotel not ideal. Room was infested with ants. 1 member of house keeping was rude and unhelpful.blonde hair. Horrid. 2 other house keeping ladies were excellent. Taking photos acting promptly and so polite. Credit to hotel. Was moved to another room.

mostly fine for what I needed
There are lots of bad reviews of this hotel. I found it met my expectations. It is not luxury but it is has its own charm and I think it is what the price represents. I believe they save costs on optional extras, such as automatic housekeeping (I do
not need my room cleaned every day so this was fine for me), and on pristine maintenance (there might be some paint peeling, the bathroom not the most modern, etc), but I did not think anything was so wrong as to make it uncomfortable. I prefer to stay here at this cost than to pay more to have something a bit more perfect. the only thing was that they were unable to confirm ahead of time whether there was a fan in my toom or not. With the heat of this summer this was an important point and they would not confirm it. I nearly cancelled because of it, and then there was a fan. I don't know why it was so hard.
I also missed having a fridge in the room, which is available in many hotels but not here. If they added an option for a fridge (even if at extra cost) I would come back here whenever in Eastbourne. They did say they could store drinks in their central fridge, but you had to go to reception: I was on the top floor and the lift took ages and it was too much effort to go down so I didn't. A few portable fridges would be a good idea.

Loved it and will be back!
I loved the sea view, the room was fabulous, it was clean, had tea and coffees and the beds and pillows were comfortable, the staff were extremely kind

we come to this hotel quite a lot its in a good spot for pier buses beach
when we arrived we were upgraded to a large front room with sea view with a fan tea coffee biscuits extra pillows a big hairdryer. the breakfast was fine good choice £10 also a free car park behind the hotel
definitely the lifts the bigger one out of order the small one was just about working only two people at a time

We booked this hotel for an elderly relative. The staff were extremely helpful and very friendly and accommodating, We was always made to feel very welcomed when we visited my relative at the hotel. I would always recommend this hotel and we will definitely be using this hotel again for return visit.

Good value for money. Close to the pier and main shopping centre.
Didn't have hot water until we decided to run shower for at least 10 minutes each time. Bathroom door did not shut needed planing. TV had to be tuned in for us.

Our stay at the Burlington Hotel Eastbourne.
We booked the hotel for its location and for the carpark facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our room was spacious for the two of us and the shower was hot . Breakfast was very plentiful no complaints there.
Due to the weather the room was very hot even with the small fan on, we did open the window but it made no difference but this is no reflection on the hotel.
Sorry to say that the mattress on the bed was lumpy and we really didn't get a good night's sleep.

Great value for money hotel in perfect position. Staff very friendly & efficient. Brilliant breakfast with loads of choices.
Our bathroom had a couple of issues which we didn’t report as we only had a 2 night stay. Very slow water pressure in the shower, also cistern was very loose.
