Always good food. Service can be a little slow if visiting at peak times between 1230 and 1330. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Lovely sea views. Can sit outside in the warmer weather.

À selection of traditional and traditional French with a twist dishes. Having lived in France for 21 years, it was nice to enjoy the twists eg mini garlic croissant on mussels and truffle, cheesy chips, but the traditional dishes I chose, were very good too particularly the creme brûlée.<br><br>Negatives. Limited menu for me.. Set dishes and no substitutions allowed... I removed two accompaniments from my main but still had to buy the one accompaniment I preferred to go with the fish that I had chosen

My parents like Bistrot Piere for Sunday lunch. Large plates of food, good value for money, staff friendly and polite. The roast beef can be a bit varied in quality (otherwise it would be a 5), have been there 3 times so far, 1st & 2nd time beautiful beef, 3rd rather chewy.<br>Bathrooms are spotless.

Went this evening 1st December for my birthday and was extremely happy. We had the set Christmas menu which at £30 for 3 courses was extremely good value for money. We both had the french onion soup, which was delicious and served within minutes of ordering. I had the confit duck with bean and bacon cassoulet, which was delicious; a jus or sauce would perfect this dish as it was a little dry without but the cooking and flavours were amazing, husband had the beef stew which was delicious. We ended with the most amazing creme brulé. Great service, buzzing atmosphere and lovely staff. Definitely recommend and will certainly go again. A new favourite. Cocktails also very good.

We had a very large group (around 35 people) and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful or accommodating. Everything was delicious and really well organised. Thanks for a great evening and particular thanks to Becky for all the assistance and reshuffling!

Service very poor. Plus took about 1.5 hours to get main course. Pudding declined as by time a server deemed to come to the table we had waited long enough. Food ok. Very small portions with frozen undercooked oven chips.<br>Will not return.
