Big and noisy. Small portions for the money. Nice view.

We had a lovely meal at Bistrot Pierre in Eastbourne. We were a group of four and very much enjoyed the food - the mussels starter was particularly delicious.
The only small issue was we were quite cold - we moved seats which helped a bit and the staff closed the back door for us but it definitely could have been a bit warmer!
NB if you are eligible, there is a Blue Light Discount here.

Dobre jedzenie w przystępnej cenie. Warto wcześniej zarezerwować miejsce. Napiwek doliczany bez pytania o zadowolenie klienta.

We love to eat out and really appreciate good food but sadly this fell short of expectations. It's a nice looking venue but a bit noisy inside but it is what it is.
Mussels for my starter while tasty were served barely warm but I ate them rather than have them pinged in the microwave.
I ordered the pork medallions but I was surprised to see how fatty each one was - although tender, they were certainly not loin. Although the sauce was flavoursome, the dauphinoise potato piece was hardly cooked with no colour and rather dry and the green beans were so tough I couldn't decide if I was actually eating the stalk of the plant - I did mention the beans but barely got a response. We didn't bother with desert, the choice wasn't very inspiring.
I was also disappointed by the wait from ordering to service and the wait between courses, not acceptable when the restaurant really was not busy.
Overall a bit pricey for small portions.
We were a group, and when we recieved the bill we were surprised to see there was a whopping 15% service charge tax added which I find really insulting - a tip should be totally discretionary and if you can't afford to pay your staff enough then don't treat customers as if it's the USA and just add it on. You should be using it so you have enough staff working and cut the waiting times.
I don't need a reply because anything under 5 stars just gets a copy & paste standard apology.

Perfect as usual. The tagines were delicious, we had both. Creme brulee was gorgeous and generous.
Was a little problem with the bill, a drink we did not ordered or had. But the waiter was great no problem. We paid separately and he did each bill with the tip. No headache for the one who does not want to add up. Haha!
The best place in town. Thank you.

Nice environment, I wish oat or skimmed milk was provided but soy is okay.

I've had the pleasure of dining at Bistrot Pierre on numerous occasions, and it never disappoints. The food consistently arrives promptly and maintains a high level of quality. What makes this place stand out, in addition to its cuisine, are the breathtaking views that enhance your dining experience. It's the ideal combination of delicious food and captivating scenery. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking good food and breathtaking views!

Had a lovely family lunch. It was my wife’s birthday and we had 6 of us from 22 to 93.
There was a great range of choices, something for everyone. Food was excellent overall however unfortunately one of the Sunday roasts was not terribly hot.
Mussell starter was great as were the chorizo sausages.
Good coffee. All portions were ample no waste and nobody left wanting.
We were lucky to receive a “blue light “ discount which they were happy to combine with their own voucher/loyalty scheme. Net result a real bargain.
The restaurant was busy and we were all having different things some with starters some with puds some with coffees . Timing was excellent. Nobody left with nothing in front of them.

Generally a good watering hole, but can be noisy, so beware (especially if you wear a hearing aid)

Do you like wall tattoos, funny sayings on your WhatsApp status and are you a really funny gal? You've come to the right place. Here you can spend a lot of money for very little quality. You'll also experience lots of different service, high volume and cheap wines.

First time here the food was amazing polite service. Good buzz about the place will definitely return and recommend the only downside was the twenty two pound service charge for six of us. I feel wrong to expect tips I feel some people tip big others can’t afford to.
