Fabulous view over the beach and the sea. We had diner on a Sunday evening, it was nice and quiet. The setting and the wooden decor give and warm ambiance, good service (lovely young team who is taking their job seriously), the food was ok but could be improved. Definitely worth a visit if you visiting Eastbourne.

This place is huge, beautifully located at the seaside with a spectacular view.<br>Staff is friendly and will be with you at a reasonable time, orders don’t take long to be served, however, I was there for breakfast so it wasn’t busy.<br>The view alone is amazing and I think I’ll be perfect for a date.<br>Breakfast menu isn’t huge, nor different from what you could find elsewhere.<br>The only thing I didn’t like about my order was the bread which wasn’t toasted properly.<br>Otherwise I’d still come back here again.<br>I couldn’t add photos this time as it might be something to do with the app.

The location is the best feature at Bistrot and well needed in Eastbourne. The food can be esquisite but the service every time I go is below parr unfortunately slow, unorganised and manic. But a lot of the staff are very friendly. Mistakes aren't dealt with correctly and that can be frustrating, especially when some of the management are quite rude. The toilets also need more attention they get quite disgusting and should be checked more regularly.<br><br>Other than that it's a win for any occasion.

Hier könnte nichts besser sein: angefangen beim unglaublich freundlichen und aufmerksamen Personal über den tollen Service, dem einmaligen Ambiente über das nicht zu toppende Essen. Hier passt einfach alles, wir kommen unbedingt wieder!

Nachdem wir auf der Terrasse Platz genommen hatten, mussten wir dreimal den Tisch wechseln..das lag daran das es immer windiger und kälter wurde.....doch BECKY hat uns mit ihrer freundlichen Art hervorragend bedient.... nachdem wir unseren reservierten Tisch eingenommen hatten, haben wir einen großartigen Abend mit traumhaftem Essen und sehr freundlichem Service genossen.........wenn möglich, kommen wir gerne wieder....... We went here with our friends.<br>3 out of 4 of us had the Chicken Maryland. When it came, all three chickens were pink!<br>We called a member of staff over who apologised and had 3 more prepared. It was the same problem. Pink meat. Kitchen had also forgotten to serve the sausages with our plates too!<br>We then decided to go vegi so as not to risk Chicken. That was delicious. Vegetables tagine.<br>We were disappointed about the food but the waiting staff really were great. One young girl in particular who was very polite and attentive. We think her name is Megan - she is hoping to go to uni to study art therapy.<br>We would like to come back (but we won't be risking the chicken).<br>It has a great atmosphere, and usually the food is very good.

Really enjoyed our evening, we turned up 30 minutes early, was no problem, and shown to a nice window seat, waiter Alessandro was very prompt to take our order and explained that two of the dishes were unavailable, didn’t matter there was plenty of selection to choose from.<br>Starters were excellent I had the king prawns and my son had the calamari, both were delicious.<br>Wife had the fish cake with great salad, both myself and my son had steaks done to perfection, unfortunately they ran out of peppercorn sauce. All the waiter’s were polite and efficient, drinks were prompt and correct. Wife and son had puddings which looked and tasted delicious. Really had a good meal and evening

This is a delightful venue with a very relaxed atmosphere and fantastic sea views. We attended for afternoon tea for my wife's birthday which was noted on the booking and yet ignored. Whilst the food overall was very good the scones were heavy and a little hard. I also have to note that I had the worst oat latte of my life! No foam and coffee grounds in the bottom of the cup. I'm not even sure how you achieve that with a latte? Overall good value for money and we would return - just won't be ordering coffee.

A lovely place right on the seafront! I didn’t get the chance to eat as I was only resting for a short while but the drinks were nice and the atmosphere was immaculate. The staff were super friendly too!

Staff move so fast it's hard to ask for anything<br>Needs to be a more relaxed atmosphere. Understand they are busy but it's about the experience as a whole.

Lovely place at the end of the beach. If you can sit outside on a nice day there is no better view. We came on a Thursday it was very busy the staff were rushed so the service was not great. However the food was good and the ambiance watching the sea great.

Don't usually go to eat french cuisine but had a good time. Host was very nice and service from staff was great. Ordered a risotto, the dish was fine but the goat's cheese wasn't agreeing with me so staff kindly changed it for me and i got a chicken dish instead. Food was great and thank you for organsing a birthday surprise for my sister.

Its in a great location and got lovely views the staff are polite, but we've been there several times for breakfast and always have had to wait ages after they've taken our order for our breakfast to arrive.
