Best chicken burger in town by far. My regular treat for lunch. Chef is top notch with a great caribbean flare which i hope she'll be able to use more within the menu in the future. Mac does a fantastic job! Hats off to them all! 🙌

I don't usually go to pubs, I'm more of a coffee shop kind of girl. My car was at the garage, so I ventured to the pub nearby. What a lovely place! I was pleasantly surprised! The young waiter I met yesterday was so polite, helpful and kind-minded. He nicely guarded my drink and crisps as I rushed back to the garage to pick up my phone. Today, it's a different waiter, but still the same high standard of service: friendly, nice little chat with his usual customers and great care to make sure I'm having a very pleasant time whilst I'm waiting for my car to be ready. And, the tea is delicious too. Thank you! Chrys.

The home made steak pie was one of the best I've had with delicious gravy and veg. Good pint of Harvey's followed by excellent cocktails.more people should visit this pub ith its friendly and attentive staff.

Party of 4 for early dinner last night. Steak and Ale pie was fantastic, homemade, pure melt in your mouth meat, couldn't ask for better. Burger and vegan burger were also great, my sister stating best vegan burger she had ever had!! Fish and chips exceptional. So full we could not order dessert!! Service excellent. Dinner took around 25 minutes to come which was worth waiting for as all homecooked. Will definitely be back and will highly recommend to all. Thank you

Absolutely perfect buffet so much choice and plenty of food for everyone..it's one of the best buffet layout for the price that I've seen in a very long time.Excellent staff and the garden was perfect...will definitely visit again

Me and my friend stopped in the way home and found it on Google. Mack and Adele were very friendly and served us both with a smile. We both had the homemade quiche with chips salad and coleslaw. We ordered an extra portion of coleslaw cause it was so good. Thank you for a great service. I would definitely recommend this pub if you're passing. It's well with a visit

The food was well priced, 3 courses £12.50 during the week. Best Pate I've ever had and the rest of the food was great for the price. I really felt for the two bar staff as they had 2 large parties to serve and it seemed like they were completely alone. The staff were very nice though hence the 5* on atmosphere.
I would recommend for a cheerful pub lunch. I didn't go in the garden but it looked nice with a little play area.

Today we celebrated my mother's 80th here, a party of 30, it was perfect!!! Wow!! What a superb spread for a buffet, top class!! Great quality, so much choice, very tasty.
So many of our guests said they will definitely be returning for a meal.
Bella and her staff were amazing!!, nothing was too much and went above and beyond to make the day so special.

our 2 dogs and took the trouble to talk to us, fuss the dogs, and gave us tips on walking and (other,) pubs worth visiting in the area.
We ended up returning at the end of our holiday to thank Bella for the excellent tips and it felt like we were already friends. She remembered us and was excited to hear about our week!

Went with a friend just before Christmas for lunch and was met with friendly staff and seated straight away. Food was amazing and freshly cooked. Portions so big we needed a take home box! Lunch and drinks at reasonable prices. Definintely planning another visit soon.
