Family reunion in Eastbourne.
We liked staff who were polite, friendly and helpful. Location was great as directly opposite the pier.
Poor lighting which resulted in tripping in corridor. Lack of breakfast facilities.

We had bikes and we were allowed to store them in hotel store room. This was very important for us and we will come again. Shower was poor.... so I had a bath, that was good.

No breakfast facilities. Lighting was poor in corridors. Tired decor with thin pillows. Noisy residents on Saturday evening.Shower door jammed so difficult to shut and no bathroom mat.

A pleasant stay
Great location, room was clean and comfortable. Easy walking distance from town, and right across from Pier - we had a sea view which was a bonus 😊
Only one towel each - no mat to put down for getting out of shower, and no hand towel. Felt a little limited on toilet roll also at one point, being told we would need to pay if we needed another one.

Great value for a great stay
Location is the best, they even gave me ocean view room, big surprise, price is too good to be true, I had great sleep with earplugs. Waking up with the sound of seagulls and ocean waves is nice!
The shower pressure is not good, the worst is that I found a used toilet paper behind bathroom door, maybe it was stuck there and staff didn’t see it, but what kind of guests left used toilet paper on the floor, with poop on the paper?! But for this price, it is ok. And there is also no bathroom rug to dry feet.

For 50 bucks in July I think it’s great value. The location is the best, they gave me ocean view room which is a big surprise, waking up with the sound of the seagulls and waves is great, I had great sleep with earplugs, it might get noisy at night with drunkards and sports cars outside, I don’t understand who will keep revving engine so loudly at night, to show off to whom exactly?
The room itself is ok, big enough, big windows to let air in, bed is comfortable. Shower is small and shower pressure is weak, there is no bathroom mat to dry feet but it basically has everything I need.
Again the location is great. Right on the coast, many restaurants nearby, town center and shopping mall within minutes walk. I walked 30,000 steps from hotel to Seven Sisters along the coast and bus directly back to hotel. There is bus to both north and south Brighton.
The only bad thing is that I found a used toilet paper with poop on it stuck behind the bathroom floor. What kind of guests would do that? It was stuck so the staff didn’t see it. But for 50 bucks a night in July I have no complaint.
Booking com says there is free wifi in room but no there is no wifi at all. Luckily I have enough data to use. There should be free wifi in hotel hall but I didn’t use it.
Maybe the pillow is too thin but just personal preference.

Great for a 1 night stay
The staff were super friendly. The location is great, central to everything, the pier is just opposite, the town centre a few minutes walk away. I had a single bed, but it was extremely comfortable.
I'd say it's good value for money, although they charged me £10 for early entry, which was fine as I arrived into Gatwick airport at 8am! It's an old hotel in great need of updating. The room was comfortable, but the paint on the window frame and sill was peeling and rusty.
The carpeting needs replacing. The furniture in the lounge area was dated and the table tops were peeling. It needs a lot of tlc!
