Always Clean And Comfortable
Afton is always my first choice when I'm visiting Eastbourne. It's situated just right for the shops, bars, pubs and the theatre.

The hotel was very warm and inviting, in decor and staff. It felt like being in a home instead of a business. All the staff were welcoming and helpful. A person feels very comfortable and at ease in this hotel.
The lights in the corridors by the lifts only came on when motion sensors detected a person moving. Often left in the dark while waiting for the lift.

Where the hotel is very easy to get into town . Very nice staff very clean have been to this hotel a few times and never been disappointed breakfast was very nice beds where one of the most comfortable we have every slept on.

Takes a while for the water to heat up in the shower. The WiFi doesn't reach the third floor at all (in reception it works just fine).

Great stay, great value for money.
Great friendly and helpful staff easy check in, very nice large room, great location, opposite the pier ,near restaurants, bars,city centre, the hotel itself could do with a bit of TLC, but did not affect our stay,the heating in our room didn't work,but once we reported it it was fixed within 15minutes,I would recommend it to anyone great value for money.
