Are you looking for something different this Mother's Day?

One way to make a good impression on mum is to buy handmade. Buying handmade gifts means you are getting a unique gift you certainly won't find on the high street. Often the makers can personalise them too, so they are completely one off. You'll also be supporting independent designers and makers who have made all their creations with love just for you.

If you are on the look out for handmade gifts in Brighton then look no further than The Fairy Tale Fair, a whimsical themed craft and vintage fair. The next fair is a Mother's Day and Easter special on Saturday 5th March in Patcham, Brighton.

The fair will feature over 40 local & talented designer / makers selling their creations. You'll find crafts galore including jewellery, prints, cards, beauty, handmade chocolates, knitted items, homewares, sewn creations, ceramics and lots more.

**Check out these Special Mother Day's Offers available on the Day***

There will also be the chance to make your own gifts for Mother's Day in the craft workshop room. There are workshops suitable for all ages and include polymer clay jewellery, card making, wet felting, shabby chic storage tins, fairy wands and beaded key rings and jewellery. All workshops are reasonably priced and all materials are provided. The makers are on hand to demonstrate and help you at all times too. Mum is sure to spoiled with your handmade gift just for her!

As well as the craft stalls and workshops there is also a wonderful vintage tearoom run by vintage catering company Rosehip Sussex. There will be sweet and savoury homemade treats and some wonderful iced Easter Biscuits. Be sure to treat mum to a slice of cake and cuppa!

The kids will also be excited to hear there is face painting, provided by the popular Sparkles Face Painting, commonly referred to as 'the best face painting we've ever seen'.

The fair is the day before Mother's Day and makes the perfect family day out. There is free entry and free parking. Plus a charity raffle for Brighton Cats Protection.
