The project contractors give an update on the gas works being undertaken.
Completed in 1794 the Basingstoke Canal originally connected the Town, and surrounding area, to London with vessels carrying timber, flour and chalk to the City and returning with coal and much-needed fertiliser for the Hampshire agricultural community.
As you are aware we carried out some work to upgrade our gas network in Temple Road, Epsom earlier this year. We need to return during the school summer holiday to upgrade our network at the junction of Temple Road and Chase Road. Our contractor KLT Construction will undertake this work on our behalf.
