Further to my previous communication on Tuesday 31 July I would like to provide an update about our work to upgrade our gas network in Temple Road, Epsom.
As you may be aware we are currently carrying out some emergency repair work on our gas network in Hook Road and East Street. For everyone's safety, Hook Road is closed between the A24 and Longmead Road. A signed diversion is in place for motorists. Access has been maintained for businesses and residents. Our engineers have been working hard to carry out these repairs as quickly and safely as possible however our repairs are likely to continue into next week.
As a result of this, in consultation with Surrey County Council we are postponing the start of our upgrade to our gas network in Temple Road. This will now start once our repairs in Hook Road have been completed and the road re-opened. We expect this to be mid-late next week.
