Helio Fitness is a gym with a difference.
Most parents dread the school holidays, but this Easter, with so much happening across Bolton, children of all ages will be kept amused. It can be difficult to keep everyone occupied when schools are closed, but hopefully some of the events listed below will do the trick.
The latest X-Force Group gym is set to open in Lancaster after a £2.3m investment. The new 65,000 sq ft fitness facility (formerly a Total Fitness on Caton Road) will now be called 3-1-5 Health and Fitness. It is owned by local entrepreneurs Sean Thornton and Ceri Smith and will create 24 jobs.
Le Terrier was formed in 2008 whilst pals were having a few malts after a particular hard day in the Dales on a club weekend. After one to many Graham Orr said 'what our club needs is a sportive', what did the others say 'well get on with it then!' and so Le Terrier was born.
It's no longer a man's World. Today sees a number of women in powerful and influential positions, no where more obvious than in business. March 8th is International Women's Day, when these women are celebrated.
The women of Bolton and the wider area are once again set to don their pink apparel and run around Leverhulme Park in an effort to raise £115,000 for Cancer Research UK. This years Race For Life has been organised for Sunday, July 7th.
The Dean Thompson Memorial Fund do a great job raising funds for the Young Oncology Unit at Christies. They are holding a sponsored walk across Morecambe Bay on Saturday 18th May 2013 and you could take part.

Lancaster Tennis Club is launching its new tennis season with an Open Day on Saturday March 30th (2pm – 4pm) for anyone interested in trying out tennis and maybe becoming the next Andy Murray!

Lancaster & Morecambe Athletics Club is accepting entries for their annual 3 Bridges 10k running race which will be held from the Clubhouse at Salt Ayre Sports Centre at 11am on Sunday 28th April.
Karen Willcock, an Advanced Acupuncturist and Practice Principal at Bolton Therapy Centre, on Chorley Old Road, says that acupuncture can often be better than prescription drugs as a treatment for patients with many types of sleeping problems.
