Me & two friends went to see a film at the light cinema, we found the staff very helpful & polite. One of my friends is disabled & they took extra care of her. The seats were comfortable & screens clear. Drinks & snacks are available & the usual kind of prices. Parking is just outside & there are restaurants & a pub very close by. Will definitely return.

From booking our seats on line was easy, all we had to do was show the email confirmation/ticket to the attendant no queuing. We purchased hot chocolate and a glass of wine from the Green room which we were able to take into the cinema. Our seats were comfortable with room and great view of a very good film. Must add all areas of the cinema was very clean.

The Light is very new, and is well laid out: there is a good selection of films and very comfortable seating.
The only general disadvantage is the car-park, which is easily filled (it is being expanded) and requires pre-payment -which means you have to guess when you will be leaving!
Specifically there is a disadvantage for those with disability walking; although there is a lift, once you enter the screen you walk along an uphill corridor in darkness, and then face a choice of front row or climbing stairs. As you choose seats when buying tickets in the foyer, it is worth knowing this beforehand!
All of the foyer services are on the level with the outside pavement, so general access is not a problem: there are disabled parking spaces ( not many) and these are at the same charge as for the able-bodied. There is a bus service nearby, which may be a better alternative to driving.

Very few staff around to assist. Cinema has great seats and very good unrestricted viewing. Side lights are a bit glary before the film starts and the house lights stay off during the closing credits, the aisles are illuminated but as the seating is steeply angled it's a bit uncomfortable exiting with the lights off. On the whole very good but could slightly be improved.

Overall impression was very good, no queue to get tickets ,screen 1 was a decent size and the purple seats were nice and comfy.
Will definitely go there instead of bentley bridge.

Visited here for the 1st time today. Nice little cinema. Seats comfortable. Lots of leg room and a storage tray between seats for drinks.. it's a little cramped in the foyer when getting tickets and only one toilet which resulted in queues. There are more toilets upstairs where the screens are but you aren't allowed up there until the previous film has ended and the theatres are clear.....

This was picked out of a bowl by my partner and I as a thing to do for the evening, just a fun thing we do lol, and we chose The Light Cinema.

We chose to watch Stand By Me which was a classic for me and a throwback to my youth but a new experience for my partner. The cjnema itself is awesome enough but the screening rooms are extremely comfortable and spacious and there's a wide variety of things you can do in the cinema before or after your movie.

There's also a competition on to win a hot air balloon flight for two, so if you like classic films and the chance to win a hot air balloon ride, this is the perfect date night spot for you!
