Great value for money over 1 night stay in the lovely and comfortable log cabins with 2 rounds of golf 3 course evening meal plus breakfast , the Staff at Calderfields are very friendly, the food was lovely with choices for all 3 courses, the golf course is in great condition with the greens running fast and true. The golf shop is well stocked and had a great sale on, Julie in the shop was very helpful and friendly and the course marshall was very helpful and friendly, and came around the course in the refreshments buggie which was stocked with ice cold drinks and beers (beers went down well as it was a very hot day) sandwiches and snacks. Will deffinatley be going back to Calderfields.

This was our first visit to this venue, we came on the recommendation of a relative. He told me that it was excellent, and he was right. We were greeted by the manager, and shown to our table. A lovely waitress called Shopie looked after us, and made us feel most welcome.
The food was of the highest standard, with a vast range of vegetables to satisfy anybodies taste. It would be hard to beat this place on quality and price, a return visit is imminent.

Had a lovely afternoon tea here with my daughter and grandson ,lovely sandwiches and delicious cakes free top up of coffees and teas staff are so lovely here and polite always checking everything is ok with your food would well recommend .

Just got back after a 3 day stay at Calderfields with 19 like minded golfers. We had a great time and found the course and accommodation first class. The staff were always helpful and cheerful. Plenty to do as well with Walsall just 5 minutes away by taxi.

I organised a golf weekend for our society of 20 members for 2 night stay golf and breakfast and evening meals.Everything was top drawer from start tl finish .The staff were all brilliant and helpfull food excellent and cabins ckean and homely. The price we paid for our weekend made real value for money. We will go back.

Went with my son and in laws for a Sunday carvery. Lovely place, staff very attentive and all thoroughly enjoyed it. All reasonably priced. Plenty of car parking space.Would advise booking to avoid disappointment.

Fantastic support and assistance from all the staff at Calderfields for our network evening on Monday. The food was well presented and delicious. Would recommend Calderfields for all types of functions.

Played a round at Calderfields on 07.05.2018. What a great course!! Excellent layout, beautifully kept greens/fairways. The course Marshall is a credit to the course, what a nice guy!

We stayed and played golf here from 4th to the 6th may. Great course great food great accommodation and great staff. Definately love to go there again. Groundsmen have done a cracking job keeping the course to the standard it was In and all hotel staff were helpful and polite at all times. Big thanks to the course Marshall top bloke đź‘Ť

We booked to stay for our Ladies Season Starter Spring break, (May Day Bank Holiday) and found it to be great value for money. On the Sunday evening the meal was excellent, and I can't stress enough how brilliant the staff were, they all went above and beyond their duties to ensure that we all had a great time. The cabins are very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was delicious and it was lovely to have it cooked to order rather than the buffet style that is normally available.
The course was in very good condition for this time in the season and the ladies enjoyed 2 lovely rounds of golf in glorious sunshine, on our return to the clubhouse on Monday we enjoyed a wonderful afternoon tea before heading home.
Highly recommended for the stay and play package.
Just one little tip to improve the experience would be to provide more seating outside the cabins. As the evening was hot during our stay, it would have been really good to be able to sit outside and socialise with each other rather than having to sit inside one of the cabins.

Held our Golf Society event at Calderfields GC and had a fantastic day! A well stocked pro shop catered for any last minute necessities and the opportunity to use the golf simulator or the associated driving range were enjoyed by some before we went out. Out on the course, fairways and greens were in excellent condition considering the prolonged winter period we’ve experienced, no need for preferred lies, greens were receptive and putts ran true. The hospitality we were shown was fantastic, quality coffee and bacon rolls before we went out and refreshing beverages when we got back in. In terms of value, you won’t beat Calderfields.

I recently organised and took part in a society day for my place work on the 30/04/2018. The day went smoothly from start to finish. Hot drinks and Hot food on arrival which was very prompt and delicious also.
The golf itself was fantastic. An enjoyable and challenging course for all levels of golfers, whether your 28 or scratch handicapper.
Course was in very good condition, regardless of the freakish inclement whether we have had over recent months.
All the staff are very friendly, welcoming and couldn't do enough for us.
I would strongly recommend this place for anyone wishing to use it for a society day, golf in general or an evening out. It is fantastic. Will definitely book again.

We used to visit about two years ago on a regular basis when the Sunday carvery was open 12 until 2.00 pm then they opened it until about 5 pm and we thought the food especially the veg was not quite as fresh HOWEVER me and the wife went back today for Sunday lunch and the service and food first class and good value for money

Visited today with family for Afternoon Tea after winning a competition on the clubs facebook page. We all really enjoyed the range of treats. The sandwiches had really nice fillings (egg mayo, cheese and cucumber, turkey and cranberry) and the cakes were a super lovely range with the final tier traditional scones, jam and cream. We had to bring a small treat away as we were so full. The staff were very attentive and lovely. I can highly recommend.

Me and my partner stayed for a weekend in one of the log cabins, really nice rooms to a high spec, the shower was amazing and all in all the cabin was clean, warm and quiet. the cabins and the club house give wonderful views of the golf course. The restaurant was amazing the food was the best i have tasted and the carvery was out of this world. All the staff are lovely, a really nice family friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and I can wait to stay again when down visiting family

We’ve had a great afternoon tea today overlooking the lake. The food was delicious. There was so much we all had to take doggy bags of the cakes to enjoy at home. Lovely attentive staff too. Thank you so much.

We had a lovely time here. We had a drink in the bar after I popped in the gym and my wife had a beauty treatment in the salon. Overall very pleasant. The cabin was clean and comfortable. Its so quiet at night we couldn’t hear anything. Will be returning in the summer.
