Had our wedding day here, everyone was so helpful and friendly, even you needed something they all went out there way to do it. The area is stunning and the food is delicious!

Volunteers day trip outing with AFC Wimbledon.
We were superbly looked after and our visit coincided with a win at Walsall, which was the first in eight years on one of the volunteer days.

Room wifi was non existent. Dirty pint glass in room. Rooms have terrible lighting and be prepare to wake up to the sound of multiple lawn mowers cutting the greens at 6am. Unfortunately I was next to the entrance to where they keep the mowers.
I was hoping to walk around the golf course but I was told not to as it was an "open evening" so missed out on that.
Breakfast cost £7.50, I couldn't fault that. Would stay again because of price and location.

Came for Christmas day with family, 10 in total.We have been before and for Sunday lunch.It was all superb no rush, staff very friendly.For the cost it was excellent, definitely do it again.It speaks for itself she.n every table is full.You prebook starters and desserts, then a Cavery for main.No pushing 1 table is sent at a time.What can I say except none of us ate untill following lunch time.Thank you all again Happy New Year xxx

Thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Day luncheon. The carvery offered a good selection of well cooked food. We dined at 5.00pm and the staff were amazing, all friendly and offered their services with a smile.

Just returning from a Sunday carvery, table of 11. Going to be honest, we felt that the eating area was horrendously overcrowded resulting in tightly packed tables, little room to manoeuvre.
Although the carvery was okay, the service was poor. We ordered starters and after eating had to take the plates away ourselves and find waiting staff to remove.
The same thing happened after we had finished our mains: we had to ask for plates to be removed.
One waitress brought dessert menus but didn't return for the order. After 20 minutes we gave up and asked for the bill.
On reflection it seemed the priority lay in getting people through the door and seated, with no consideration for the actual dining experience.

Went here for lunch after some early Christmas shopping! Food was usual high standard and staff very good .Had beef and pork with lots of veg .Can't manage 3 courses now so just had main and dessert-- crème brulé lovely.We will return!
