Ironbridge Gorge UNESCO World Heritage Site has been ranked 1st in the UK and 2nd in the world as the most recommended sites to visit.
For a fun day out during the festive period go along to the Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire’s stunning Severn Valley where six of the ten museums will be open daily from 10am until 4pm. They will only be closing on Christmas Eve, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.
An exciting £250 million development between Telford & Wrekin Council and Southwater Event Group, part funded by the Homes & Communities Agency. The development will transform an area of Telford Town Centre which runs from the shopping centre down to The International Centre, providing high quality commercial, community, residential, hotel, leisure and retail space in a carefully planned and managed environment. Most importantly Southwater will give Telford a thriving and vibrant heart!
Blists Hill Victorian Town, one of the ten Ironbridge Gorge Museums in Shropshire, will be making an appearance on the TV screen during the BBC’s ground-breaking documentary Andrew Marr’s History of the World on Sunday, 4 November.
