The Perfect Fifth has closed it's doors for the last time.
Louise Mitchell i'm gutted about this. if it werent for the Fifth i'd never have rediscovered the Bluetones.....why cant Taunton sustain any decent venues? no, people would rather go to *insert generic pub chain name* and just get hammered instead of going out for gigs/comedy/something DIFFERENT on a night out, its such a shame
Personally I feel a real sadness about this having been to several gigs at The Perfect Fifth on a Saturday night and also enjoyed tea and cakes their during the day. This venue shutting is a real shame for Taunton as expressed by the quotes above - How could businesses like this be helped so they can become sustainable?
