Absolutely lovely atmosphere, very friendly helpfull staff. Me+my guy enjoyed an absolutely delicious carvery after booking a table very last minute, that morning. Best carvery we've had in a long time.

Been here a couple times over the past week and the food was spot on, one of the best burgers and carvery I’ve had in a while, staff were very friendly and accommodating will definitely be back :)

Well what can I say, had a fantastic evening and meal here tonight with friends, staff were very friendly and attentive, the food was amazing, very well presented and enjoyed by us all. We will defently be back. We would recommend visiting and enjoy such lovely food and very welcoming staff.and great value for money.

Visited when we were in the area for a few days. Dogs are welcome and we had ours with us. We sat inside. Had two mains, two desserts and two drinks (1 alcoholic) for £54. Nice welcome, server was attentive and friendly, wasn't v busy but was a random weeknight. Food was decent. Had a nice outside area and lots of parking.

Been wanting to try this place for a while as we pass it frequently. Really nice pub and friendly staff. The food is really good, proper home cooking.
I had the Allerford Chicken which was delicious and my fiancé really enjoyed his burger! (Only feedback was I wish my meal was on a plate not in a bowl, but just personal preference)
But overall very tasty food and looking forward to coming back, thank you!

We came here for lunch as my husband had the day off. So pleased we did. We were welcomed by a lovely young man. We chose to sit outside. We were given our menus to browse. The food was absolutely delicious. Very good value with great service. We will definitely be returning.

Our evening had fantastic food and service, we loved the starters, but the mains, wow, they were amazing, only issue we had was that we were too full to try dessert!

Went for Sunday lunch here. A really good meal and plenty of it. They have a good space outside as well so on a good day there's room for the family to have a run around. It's quite out of the way which is great but a little bit of a trek. It is right next to a railway which generally isn't a problem. The staff are pleasant and good service.

What a wonderful place to get ya chops dirty, food the absolutely perfect, massive portions and very well priced. All the staff there are amazing and carry smiles on their fresh clean young faces 😊.

On Wednesday 22/05/24 we booked the Allerford Inn for a ‘wake’ following a family funeral. We booked for40 guests and chose the £14 per head buffet menu.
We arrived at around 2.15pm and the buffet was put out for our guests shortly afterwards. The standard of the buffet was excellent, with an excellent variety of items, including open sandwiches, meats, roast potatoes, quiches, sausage rolls, pizzas, three different large cakes and an unlimited tea/coffee station. There was ample food for all of the guests. We were also given the function room until 6pm.
The staff were very courteous, polite, friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble, this was shown when asked to provide additional orange/apple juice for our guests at short notice, as the weather was warmer than anticipated.
Overall, our experience was all that we as a family had hoped, The Allerford Inn provided an excellent service and the food was first class. Thank you for making a very difficult day that much more bearable.

Lovely family celebration meal. Fairly small but interesting menu, with several good vegetarian and vegan options for us, and better than the usual pub fodder. Waiting staff very friendly and attentive. Good value and pleasant surroundings. There is a large outside area and carpark too.

Sunday lunch here. We've been before and it continues to provide an excellent Sunday carvery. I was determined to manage a pudding today, but the meat and fabulous range of vegetables meant I was too stuffed.

Great decor. Friendly and helpful staff and dog friendly. Had the cavery which was good value. The meat was lovely 3 choices and cooked well all the veg was fresh desserts looked delicious Will be back again!

Great low key gem of a pub. We have been meaning to try for some time. We finally did this week, and weren't disappointed. Friendly staff and varied nenu. We had Ham Ploughmans, which seems pretty rare on menus. Wow, what a feast. Superb carved ham, variety of pickles and salad. Great selection of sweets too. Highly recommended.
