Came here for a works Christmas party was a brilliant atmosphere the staff were all friendly and chatty throughout the night! The food was lovely would definitely recommend:) The band and Circus show was a great addition to the Christmas party nights🙌🏼

Attended a lovely wedding here recently. The venue itself is very nice and the food (carvery) and desserts were spot on. The staff were helpful and friendly. A good venue for a wedding.

We had our wedding here at the end of November with a carvery and drinks package at a very reasonable price. The function room looked lovely with all the fairy lights. Food was lovely and went down well with all our guests. The staff were great but the wedding co ordinator was absolutely amazing. She was on it the whole time and everything ran smoothly. Thank you all so much.

We visited on a very busy Sunday and we were pleasantly surprised. We had booked a table for four, were shown where our table was, and how we would know when to collect our carvery. We had a little of each meat joint and there was a great selection of vegetables and condiments available. Would definitely visit again.

I’ve been to the Allerford Inn plenty of times, for family gatherings, for carvery’s, for lunch and just for drink. We tend to host a lot of our get together’s at the Allerford as they truly cater to every individual need and are exceptional in making visions reality.
My most recent visit was for my wife’s 25th surprise gathering where we had private room which they decorated and looked beautiful, we were not disturbing the other customers and could enjoy ourselves and we had one of their many buffet options with some wonderful choices of foods.
We look forward to visiting again soon.

Went for a Sunday carvery. It was very busy when we arrived but we were served promptly at the bar for drinks, then buzzed up for the carvery after about 15 mins. The food was delicious but the best bit was the service we received from Katelyn and Alfie, they are a credit to the pub. Will definitely return!

First time ever at this venue. We came because of the good reviews we heard and read...
We were sat in the "music room" where it was very cold and loud music...We had trouble heqring eachother.These issues were slightly remediated by staff.Despite the very nice service and attentive staff, we cannot say we will return. The carvery was average, nothing special about it. The chocolate fudge brownie came with a chocolate icecream, instead of vanilla...That was a faux pas. Another member of our group had vanilla and chocolate iceacream...But what an icecream it was...Came almost melted, and the vanilla one, was a sorrowful excuse for an icecream...very strange colour and more ice than cream...The remembrance strawberry cheesecake was clearly frozen and defrosted...It came to the table still half frozen...We did not complain as we were too embarrassed because of the two friends we invited for the meal...
Oh...and from the four of us, we "thank you" for the stomach cramps and diarrhoea!👍

Great Carvery! Good selection.. All staff from bar/kitchen were friendly helpful and efficient. Roasties and Yorkshire’s were absolutely perfect as was the gravy too! Good value for money definitely coming back!

Staff here are amazing, the New managers here are super friendly, bubbly and Kelly their wedding planner is just superb, a real gem and deserves huge recognition. She went above and beyond ensuring everything was running smoothly.

Lovely child free evening, live music in the background, absolutely loved the Allerford chicken, hubby had the steak would definitely recommend paying the Allerford Inn a visit.

We came for a family party and it was lovely. Great quality food. Really helpful staff. We came for lunch and ended up staying for dinner as well. The decking outside needs some attention, but it didn't case us any problems. Thank you!

Wow. Outstanding carvery. So much fresh food. Atmosphere was incredible. Just a buzz about the place. The cleanliness of all areas was amazing. The new landlord and landlady are so friendly, bringing a real family vibe to this place. Highly recommend. Will be returning soon. Even booked the works Christmas party here, after seeing all the wonderful entertainment they have put in place.

Originally we booked a table for 4 at the Merry Monkton Elm for a Sunday carvery, got there and NO booking was made under our name, I was fuming I tell you 😡 as would anybody would be. We then decided to go to the Alleford Inn Nr Norton fitzwarren, the car park was full, we thought they may will turn us away, but no they made space for us nothing was a problem. I am a little dubious with beef but what a succulent tasty flavoursome joint and I could pull the beef with my fork it was that soft it melted in in my mouth as was the pork and turkey, very impressed, I had to thank the chief personally along with the owners and staff, lovely bunch, very welcoming, staff have happy 😊 so the atmosphere feels like a nice family dinning room. We had 2 adults and 1 child's carvery, chicken nuggets, chips and veg, 1 pint of larger, one glass of wine, pepsi, j2o and the bill came to £60 the Merry Monkton was more expensive with no wine.
Speaking to the new owners about their vision and plan's because it is a very spacious place and what they have planned for the summer of 2025 we locals and visitors alike will all have a lot to go to and alot of family days are planned, they also have bands on Fri/Saturday nights, you will need to check, but yes we will Definitely be returning next week for our treat 😊 thanks guy's it was blinking beautiful 🤗😁

1st visit to the Alderford for sometime i have to admit but I'm glad I went .
Had a Sunday carvery and it was lush really enjoyed it. Had banoffee waffle for pudding and it didn't dissapoint at all. Lovely atmosphere, polite staff ample parking. Prices were very reasonable too. Gonna be my new go to place for a Sunday carvery , next to try out mid week menu 😋. Dogs also allowed i think In certain parts for anyone wishing to take their's with them.
